Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi to Nanyuki in Mt Kenya region

  Drive from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport through the Central Kenya region, with stopovers to view pineapple, coffee, and tea farms, as well as the Equator, among other attractions, on the way to Nanyuki Town. Check in at Simba's Hotel, and after lunch, meet our crew, including the guide and porters. The guide will provide a briefing on the itinerary and the plans for each day. Enjoy dinner and overnight accommodation at the hotel.

• Day 2 : nanyuki [2000 meters above sea level] to old moses camp[3300 meters]

  After breakfast, drive to the Sirimon Park Gate (2,675 meters). After clearing with the national park authority, acclimatize for 3 to 4 hours at Old Moses Camp. This hike is ideal for trekkers throughout their trekking days, offering a chance to see small game and wildflowers. Enjoy the cool breezes as you pass through the forest during your hike.

• Day 3 : old moses camp to shipton camp 4200 meters

  After breakfast, we will hike the moorland through Mackinder's Valley to Shipton's Camp. The hike will take approximately 7-8 hours, and we have packed a lunch for the journey. This trek offers a chance to view high-altitude animals and birds, as well as observe the changes in vegetation that occur with increasing altitude.
  
  Dinner will be served at the camp, where trekkers will have an early meal to ensure they get enough rest in preparation for the ascent to the summit of Peak Lenana, which stands at 4,985 meters, the following day.

• Day 4 : shipton camp to old moses camp

  At pre-dawn (3:00 AM), we will begin our ascent to Summit Peak Lenana, which stands at 4,985 meters. The ascent takes approximately 6 hours round trip. Trekkers are expected to reach the summit by sunrise. On a clear day, you can see Mount Kilimanjaro and the Indian Ocean, among other sights. After taking photos at the summit, we will descend to camp for breakfast and a short rest before continuing on to Old Moses Camp.

• Day 5 : Old Moses to Lake Nakuru National Park

  After breakfast, descend to connect with transport to Lake Nakuru National Park. Check in at the Waterbuck Hotel. Later, drive to the national park for game viewing, where you can see lions, rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, leopards, flamingos, and a variety of birdlife. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

  After breakfast, drive through the escarpments to the Parkside Hotel in Nairobi.
