Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Guwahati - Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU) / Guwahati Railway Stat

  Transfer to Kaziranga National Park - After lunch drive to Kaziranga - It is approximately 220 kilometers and is nearly 05 hours drive - Kaziranga National Park has been granted maximum protection under the Indian law for wildlife conservation - The sanctuary, which hosts two-thirds of the world's great one-horned rhinoceroses and is a World Heritage Site - Located on the edge of the Eastern Himalaya biodiversity hot spot, the park combines high species diversity and visibility - Reach by evening and check into hotel / resort - Evening stroll around the local area - Overnight stay at Kaziranga
• Day 2 : Kaziranga National Park Activities

  Early morning explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of Elephant - Apart from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants and if you are lucky one can spot the tiger also - It is also home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park - Return to the resort for breakfast - After breakfast, visit Assamese Village, Craft Centre etc - After lunch Jeep Safari in one of the ranges of the park - Return to the hotel / resort - Evening stroll around the local area - Overnight stay at Kaziranga

• Day 3 : Transfer from Kaziranga National Park to Shillong

  Drive to Shillong - It is approximately 295 kilometers and is nearly 07 hours drive - After breakfast proceed for Shillong - Enroute visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills - It is the capital and hill station of Meghalaya, also known as "The Abode of Clouds", one of the smallest states in India - Shillong is situated at an elevation of 4,900 feet - The town reminded the European settlers of Scotland - Hence, they would also refer to it as 'Scotland of the East' - On arrival check-in to your hotel - Rest of the day at leisure or one can stroll around the local market or police Bazaar - Overnight stay in Shillong

• Day 4 : Cherrapunjee Excursion

  It is approximately 60 Kilometers up Cherapunjee i.e. 02 - 2陆 hours drive by car - Currently the historical name Sohra is more commonly used is a subdivisional town in the East Khasi Hills in Meghalaya - It is credited as being the wettest place on Earth, although nearby Mawsynram currently holds that record - Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves - Visit Visit Dwan Syiem view point, Noh kalikai falls, Mawsmai caves, Seven Sister falls, Eco park etc - Later after lunch back to Shillong drive back to Shillong - On the way visit to Shillong Peak & Elephant Falls - Return to The Hotel / Resort - Evening if time permits visit local market (Police Bazar) - Night stay at Shillong

• Day 5 : Shillong Sightseeing & transfer to Guwahati

  After breakfast visit Don Bosco Museum & Ward鈥檚 Lake - It is approximately 100 Kilometers and is 03 to 03 陆 hours drive by car - Guwahati is the largest city of North East India - It's a major riverine port city and one of the fastest growing cities in India - Guwahati is known for its rich cultural heritage, tradition and its art and craft forms, music, dance, fairs and festivals - Dance and music form an integral part of the culture - Bihu dance is the most popular - Reach guwahati check into hotel - After that drive to Guwahati - Arrive and check in at hotel - In the evening visit 'Kalakshetra', a place where Assamese history and culture is presented through Light and sound show - Return to hotel - Overnight stay at Guwahati
