Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Guwahati Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU) / Guwahati Railway Statio

  Transfer to Shillong - enjoy the view on road - Its approximately 120 kilometers & is nearly 03 hours drive by car - It is the capital and hill station of Meghalaya, also known as "The Abode of Clouds", one of the smallest states in India - The town reminded the European settlers of Scotland - Hence, they would also refer to it as 'Scotland of the East' - On arrival check-in to your hotel - Rest of the day at leisure or one can stroll around the local market or police Bazaar - Overnight stay in Shillong

• Day 2 : Excursion to Cherrapunjee

  Early Morning breakfast - Next drive to Cherrapujee - It is approximately 60 Kilometers i.e. 02 - 2½ hours drive by car - Currently the historical name Sohra is more commonly used is a subdivisional town in the East Khasi Hills in Meghalaya - It is credited as being the wettest place on Earth, although nearby Mawsynram currently holds that record - Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves - Visit Visit Dwan Syiem view point, Noh kalikai falls, Mawsmai caves, Seven Sister falls, Eco park etc - Later after lunch back to Shillong drive back to Shillong - On the way visit to Shillong Peak & Elephant Falls - Return to The Hotel / Resort - Evening if time permits visit local market (Police Bazar) - Night stay at Shillong

• Day 3 : Transfer from Shillong to Guwahati

  Early morning breakfast - Next drive for approximately 120 kilometers i.e. a drive of nearly 03 hours - After breakfast take the departure transfer to Guwahati - Check-in to your hotel at Guwahati on arrival - Post lunch we visit Kamakhya Temple - Situated on the Nilachal Hill in western part of Guwahati city - Being the centre for Tantra worship this temple attracts thousands of tantra devotees in an annual festival known as the Ambubachi Mela - Another annual celebration is the Manasha Puja -It is an important pilgrimage destination - Rest of the day at leisure or one can stroll around the local market or visit restaurant for local cuisine - Overnight stay in Guwahati

  Early morning breakfast - Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary is known for great Indian One-horned rhinoceros in the Morigaon district of the state of Assam nearly 450 kilometers from Guwahati - Besides rhinoceros, the other animals are leopard, wild boar, Barking deer, wild buffalo etc - Assam’s Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary is also home to more than 2000 migratory birds and various reptiles - Four major shopping center of Guwahati are Pan Bazaar, Paltan Bazaar, Fancy Bazaar and Uzan Bazaar - Evening Brahmaputra Cruise is Optional - Overnight stay in Guwahati

  After breakfast Guwahati sight-seeing like Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, Science Museum, State Zoo etc - Next drop at the Railway Station Few fact about Assam worth mentioning is the ancient cities of Pragjyotishpura and Durjaya (North Guwahati) were the capitals of the ancient state of Kamarupa under the Varman and Pala dynasties - Many ancient Hindu temples are in the city, giving it the name City Of Temples - Dispur, the capital of Assam, is in the circuit city region located within Guwahati and is the seat of the Government of Assam - After breakfast drive to Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU) / Guwahati Railway Station (GHY) - Forwarding Journey - Drop at Guwahati Airport / Guwahati Railway Station - Forwarding Journey
