Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive Paro and Transfer to Thimphu

Arrive Paro Air Port, you will be meet by Bhutan Men-Lha Adventures and escort you to the Hotel in Paro. Evening leisure and O/N hotel in Paro.

Day 2 : Paro Sightseeing

Visit Paro Dzong built in 1646, by the Lama Zhanbdrung Ngawang Namgyal. Lunch in town and drive to North direction about 15km to visit the ruin of the Drugyal Dzong built in 1649 to commemorate the victory over Tibetan Invaders. On the way back visit an oldest monastery built in 659AD by the Tibetan King Songtsen Geombo to Spread the Buddhism. O/N hotel in Paro.

Day 3 : Paro-Thimphu

Drive to Thimphu, en route walk on the motor road for 1hour and continue to drive to Thimphu. O/N hotel in Thimphu.

Day 4 : Thimphu

Morning after your breakfast walk to the Memorial Chorten, visit Chorten built in the memory of 3rd King. Continue your tour to Textile Museum, Folk Heritage Museum, Painting School and Indigenous Hospital. Evening Leisure and O/N hotel in Thimphu.

Day 5 : Thimphu-Trongsa

Morning after your breakfast drive to Trongsa across Dochula Pass at (3,140m) and Pelela Pass at(3,300m). En route lunch in Wangduephodrang and continue the drive to Trongsa. O/N hotel in Trongsa.

Day 6 : Trongsa - Bumthang

Morning visit Trongsa Dzong and the watchtower, that is converted into Museum. Continue your drive to Bumthang, Lunch in Bumthang and after lunch visit Kurjey Monastery, Jambay Lhakhang and Tamzhing Lhakhang. O/N hotel in Bumthang.

Day 7 : Bumthang - Punakha

Morning after your breakfast drive to Punakha with lunch en route. Visit Punakha Dzong in the evening and O/N hotel in Punakha.

Day 8 : Punakha - Thimphu

Morning visit Punakha Dzong and Chimilhakhang, have lunch and continue your drive to Thimphu. O/N at hotel in Thimphu.

Day 9 : Thimphu - Phuntsholing

Drive to Phuntsholing after the breakfast. Visit Simtokha Dzong and continue you drive and lunch en route. The road was built in 1961 by the Dantak, an Indian Dorber Roads Organization. Just before arriving Phuntsholing we will stop to visit Kharbandi Monastery built in 1967, this monastery was built by the Royal Grand Queen mother. It houses the large status of Buddha Sakyamuni, Zhanbdrung Ngawang Namgyal and Guru Rinpoche (precious Master). O/N hotel in Phuntsholing.

Day 10 : Phuntsholing - Siliguri (India)

After the breakfast drive to Siliguri, passing through lush green tea garden en route. Siliguri is the gateway to North-Eastern Indian, and the main transit point for visits to Darjeeling, Sikkim, Bhutan, Eastern Nepal and Assam. After lunch in Siliguri, drive to Darjeeling via the Mahananda Wildlife sanctuary. O/N hotel in India.

Other Terms & Conditions :Reservation policy with Bhutan Men - Lha Adventures:
Once the reservation is made please wire the tour payment at our account maintain with CITI BANK in New York. USA.
Payment should be wire full amount including Air Fare.
We would like you to read the cancellation policy carefully and understand properly to avoid any misunderstanding with our company.
Tour Cancellation Policy of the Company:
Once the tour is confirm you will have to make the full payment to the company.
Tour programs booked and subsequently cancelled are subjected to a cancellation charge as follows.
Within 30 Days 10% of the total cost
Within 21 Days 25% of the total cost
Within 14 Days 40% of the total cost
Within 10 Days 50% of the total cost
Less then 10 Days no refund will be given back
Travel Insurance
There is no personal insurance of any kind included in the tour price, so Travel insurance should be obtained from your place of residence in advance of your trip. Travel agents in Bhutan will not hold any liability for illness, injury or death sustained during your trip.
Tour Program Confirmation
A program is considered to be CONFIRMED only if and when:
Full detail of the program is accepted - including daily rates, number of nights and entry and exit points.
All particulars are submitted to us - such as passport details, different forms required for a given category of visit.
Full payment for tour and Druk Air Fare are remitted - as per procedure.
If you are ill and if you can provide the Medical certificate, then you will be refunding your payment after deducting the cancellation charges of Druk-Air Ticket.
Tour:
For bookings during the months of March/April/May and September / October / November full passport particulars of all participants should be provided minimum 60 Days in advance for us to hold all services on confirmed basis.
Druk Air Reservation Procedure
During High Seasons-January, February, March, April, May, June, July, September, October, November & December.
These months are peak season and flight seats and other related services are very difficult to confirm. These 10 months are considered as embargo period by the Druk-Air 100% deposit is to be made against group bookings at least 45 Days prior to the trip with a non-refundable condition. We confirm tour only once the flight seats get confirmed.
Block booking without names will not be accepted.
15 person and above 1 person name change will be accepted. Any changes beyond 15 will be treated as fresh booking.
Reservation will be accepted on deposit of full fare payment.
Name change will be charge 25$ for one ticket.
Druk Air assumes no responsibility for passengers being off loaded due to invalid travel documents.
Time limit for purchase of ticket will be 30 Days prior of travel.
Failure to purchase ticket within time limit will result in automatic cancellation of reservation.
Priority on reservation will be given on purchase of ticket.
Cancellation Charges:
Cancellation made in case of requested/wait-listed ticket - Nil charge
Cancellation made one month prior to travel date - 30% of fare refundable
Cancellation made 2 weeks prior to travel date - 10% of fare refundable
