Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive Paro

Arrive Paro Air Port, you will be meet by Bhutan Men-Lha Adventures and escort you to the Hotel in Paro. Evening leisure and O/N hotel in Paro.

Day 2 : Paro - Thimphu

Drive to Thimphu, en route walk on the motor road for 1hour and continue to drive to Thimphu. O/N hotel in Thimphu.

Day 3 : Thimphu - Sightseeing

Morning after your breakfast walk to the Memorial Chorten, visit Chorten built in the memory of 3rd King. Continue your tour to Textile Museum, Folk Heritage Museum, Painting School and Indigenous Hospital. Evening Leisure and O/N hotel in Thimphu.

Day 4 : Thimphu - Punakha

Drive to Punakha, if the day is clear you will see the snow capped eastern Himalayan peaks. Start walking on the Motor road taking a time to witness different type of birds and vegetation. This is a very good place for bird watching and it is also famous place for the Orchid.

Day 5 : Punakha - Sightseeing

Mornings after your breakfast walk to the north direction and visit Punakha Dzong built in 1637. A former capital, this dzong is built in between two rivers. It was seriously damage by the flood in 1995. After lunch drive back and hike to Chimi Lhakhang, built on the lock hill in 15th century.

Day 6 : Punakha - Trongsa

Drive to Trongsa, en route witness birds and make a short walk. Lunch and continue drive to Trongsa O/N hotel in Trongsa.

Day 7 : Trongsa Bird watching Day

Morning after your breakfast drive to Kuenga Rabten village witness different species of birds and visit the village and the Palace used by the second kind of Bhutan. Evening drive back to Trongsa and O/N in Trongsa.

Day 8 : Trongsa - Bumthang

Morning drive to Bumthang across Yotongla Pass at (3,400m). En route witness birds and country walking from Chummi valley to Chamkhar Valley. O/N hotel in Bumthang.

Day 9 : Bumthang - Sightseeing

Morning walk to Jambay Lhakhang and visit the Monastery, continue your walk to Kurjey and visit the Monastery. Hot lunch en route and cross the suspension bridge and walk on the other side of the Chamkhar River and visit Tamzhing Monastery. Evening Leisure time and O/N hotel in Bumthang.

Day 10 : Bumthang - Punakha

Morning after your breakfast drive to Punakha with lunch en route. Visit Punakha Dzong in the evening and O/N hotel in Punakha.

Day 11 : Punakha - Paro

Morning drive to Paro via Thimphu. Visit Kyichu Lhakhang and Paro Dzong, National Museum. O/N hotel in Paro.

Day 12 : Paro - Sightseeing

One full day Taktshang Monastery Hike, this is one of the most scared religious sites in the country. This monastery is built on the cliff above the paro valley with (700m). This site is founded by the Precious master in the 8th century and built in 1692. later in 1998 it was seriously damage by the fire and renovated. It is 5hour hike. You can also spend one whole day visiting near by monastery in this area. O/N hotel in Paro.

Other Terms & Conditions :Reservation policy with Bhutan Men - Lha Adventures:
Once the reservation is made please wire the tour payment at our account maintain with CITI BANK in New York. USA.
Payment should be wire full amount including Air Fare.
We would like you to read the cancellation policy carefully and understand properly to avoid any misunderstanding with our company.
Tour Cancellation Policy of the Company:
Once the tour is confirm you will have to make the full payment to the company.
Tour programs booked and subsequently cancelled are subjected to a cancellation charge as follows.
Within 30 Days 10% of the total cost
Within 21 Days 25% of the total cost
Within 14 Days 40% of the total cost
Within 10 Days 50% of the total cost
Less then 10 Days no refund will be given back
Travel Insurance
There is no personal insurance of any kind included in the tour price, so Travel insurance should be obtained from your place of residence in advance of your trip. Travel agents in Bhutan will not hold any liability for illness, injury or death sustained during your trip.
Tour Program Confirmation
A program is considered to be CONFIRMED only if and when:
Full detail of the program is accepted - including daily rates, number of nights and entry and exit points.
All particulars are submitted to us - such as passport details, different forms required for a given category of visit.
Full payment for tour and Druk Air Fare are remitted - as per procedure.
If you are ill and if you can provide the Medical certificate, then you will be refunding your payment after deducting the cancellation charges of Druk-Air Ticket.
Tour:
For bookings during the months of March/April/May and September / October / November full passport particulars of all participants should be provided minimum 60 Days in advance for us to hold all services on confirmed basis.
Druk Air Reservation Procedure
During High Seasons-January, February, March, April, May, June, July, September, October, November & December.
These months are peak season and flight seats and other related services are very difficult to confirm. These 10 months are considered as embargo period by the Druk-Air 100% deposit is to be made against group bookings at least 45 Days prior to the trip with a non-refundable condition. We confirm tour only once the flight seats get confirmed.
Block booking without names will not be accepted.
15 person and above 1 person name change will be accepted. Any changes beyond 15 will be treated as fresh booking.
Reservation will be accepted on deposit of full fare payment.
Name change will be charge 25$ for one ticket.
Druk Air assumes no responsibility for passengers being off loaded due to invalid travel documents.
Time limit for purchase of ticket will be 30 Days prior of travel.
Failure to purchase ticket within time limit will result in automatic cancellation of reservation.
Priority on reservation will be given on purchase of ticket.
Cancellation Charges:
Cancellation made in case of requested/wait-listed ticket - Nil charge
Cancellation made one month prior to travel date - 30% of fare refundable
Cancellation made 2 weeks prior to travel date - 10% of fare refundable
