Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Paro

On arrival at Paro Airport, you will be meeting by you Bhutan Men-Lha Adventures representative, and transfer to Hotel in Paro. Afternoon Leisure O/N hotel in Paro.

Day 2 : Paro - Thimphu

Drive to Thimphu en route visit Tamchog Lhankhang, lunch in Thimphu, the Capital city of the Country. After lunch visit Painting school, National Library, Folk heritage museum and Thimphu Dzong. O/N at hotel in Thimphu.

Day 3 : Thimphu - Punakha

Drive to Bhutan鈥檚 former capital Punakha, stopping briefly en route at Dochula Pass(3140m) to enjoy a panoramic views of snow capped eastern Himalayan peaks. Continue drive to Punakha and visit Punakha Dzong, built in 1637, second oldest Dzong in the Bhutan. After lunch take a short hike to visit Chimi Lhakhang located on the lock hill. O/N hotel in Punakha.

Day 4 : Punakha - Limukha

We cross the suspension bridge over the river by Punakha dzong and walk up to Shegana. Our trek begins from there with a gradual climb up through Chirpine forest to Limukha, visiting Dompala village en route. Camp near limukha village at about (1,800m).
Walking distance: 14km, 6hours.

Day 5 : Limukha - Chungsakha

The trail takes us downhill through Rhododendron and oak forested areas. En route we visit a famous temple used as a winter residence by Lama Druk pa Kuenley in the 15th century. Camp near Chungsakha village.
Walking distance: 15kms, 6hours.

Day 6 : Chungsakha - Samtengang

The trail leads us down and across Pe-chu river, then up the hillside to sha village is the sha region of Wangduephodrang district. We continue on upwards and camp by the lakeside at samtengang.
Walking distance: 13kms, 5hours.

Day 7 : Samtengang - Wangduephodrang

We follow the trail downhill to the motor road near Chuzomsa, where we will meet the Transportation and transferred to Wangduephodrang. After Lunch continue drive to Paro and O/N hotel in Paro. Walking distance: 6kms, 3hours.
Driving Distance: 4-5hours.

Day 8 : Wangduephodrang - Paro

One full day Taktshang Monastery Hike, this is one of the most scared religious sites in the country. This monastery is built on the cliff above the paro valley with (700m). This site is founded by the Precious master in the 8th century and built in 1692. later in 1998 it was seriously damage by the fire and renovated. It is 5hour hike. You can also spend one whole day visiting near by monastery in this area.

Day 9 : Paro - Departure

Early breakfast drive to Paro Airport for your flight to onwards destination.

Other Terms & Conditions :Reservation policy with Bhutan Men - Lha Adventures:
Once the reservation is made please wire the tour payment at our account maintain with CITI BANK in New York. USA.
Payment should be wire full amount including Air Fare.
We would like you to read the cancellation policy carefully and understand properly to avoid any misunderstanding with our company.
Tour Cancellation Policy of the Company:
Once the tour is confirm you will have to make the full payment to the company.
Tour programs booked and subsequently cancelled are subjected to a cancellation charge as follows.
Within 30 Days 10% of the total cost
Within 21 Days 25% of the total cost
Within 14 Days 40% of the total cost
Within 10 Days 50% of the total cost
Less then 10 Days no refund will be given back
Travel Insurance
There is no personal insurance of any kind included in the tour price, so Travel insurance should be obtained from your place of residence in advance of your trip. Travel agents in Bhutan will not hold any liability for illness, injury or death sustained during your trip.
Tour Program Confirmation
A program is considered to be CONFIRMED only if and when:
Full detail of the program is accepted - including daily rates, number of nights and entry and exit points.
All particulars are submitted to us - such as passport details, different forms required for a given category of visit.
Full payment for tour and Druk Air Fare are remitted - as per procedure.
If you are ill and if you can provide the Medical certificate, then you will be refunding your payment after deducting the cancellation charges of Druk-Air Ticket.
Tour:
For bookings during the months of March/April/May and September / October / November full passport particulars of all participants should be provided minimum 60 Days in advance for us to hold all services on confirmed basis.
Druk Air Reservation Procedure
During High Seasons-January, February, March, April, May, June, July, September, October, November & December.
These months are peak season and flight seats and other related services are very difficult to confirm. These 10 months are considered as embargo period by the Druk-Air 100% deposit is to be made against group bookings at least 45 Days prior to the trip with a non-refundable condition. We confirm tour only once the flight seats get confirmed.
Block booking without names will not be accepted.
15 person and above 1 person name change will be accepted. Any changes beyond 15 will be treated as fresh booking.
Reservation will be accepted on deposit of full fare payment.
Name change will be charge 25$ for one ticket.
Druk Air assumes no responsibility for passengers being off loaded due to invalid travel documents.
Time limit for purchase of ticket will be 30 Days prior of travel.
Failure to purchase ticket within time limit will result in automatic cancellation of reservation.
Priority on reservation will be given on purchase of ticket.
Cancellation Charges:
Cancellation made in case of requested/wait-listed ticket - Nil charge
Cancellation made one month prior to travel date - 30% of fare refundable
Cancellation made 2 weeks prior to travel date - 10% of fare refundable
