What is the best way to serve a giant panda? The answer is short and simple---to be a Panda volunteer! Panda volunteer program is an effective way of learning about Panda. It provides a great opportunity to observe this amazing creature in such a close distance. Working side by side with a panda keeper in the area not open to general public, you can learn different aspects of pandas through the works you participate such as cleaning their enclosures, preparing panda food and collecting panda phoo, and obtain in-depth knowledge about panda lives. After all your hard work, you will get a lifetime experience—— Feed giant panda by yourself. In the end of your work, the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda (Hereinafter CCRCGP in short) will give you a certificate for your hard works and some souvenir as a way of expressing their appreciation for and recognition of your hard work. We have arranged volunteers for hundreds of panda lovers. Please contact us for more information by sending an email clicking the inquiry above, filling the form and submitting.


We have two different kinds of prices for volunteering. One is a private car plus volunteers. Another is volunteer with private car, guide and exploring neighboring sites (Entrance Tickets are not included). Please note that we only provide volunteer or panda interaction reservation services for people who choose either of the following services.
1.Private Transport, Volunteer or Panda Interaction
a. Private Car: Maximum Passenger 4,
Volunteer:USD112USD/pax, Panda Interaction: USD290/pax; Private Private Car Rent: from USD112/car on

b. Private Van (7-seat Buick): Maximum Passerger 6
Volunteer:USD112USD/pax, Panda Interaction: USD290/pax; Private Private Van Rent: USD145/van.

2.Private Transport, Private Guide, Volunteer or Panda Interaction

Group Size: 2-8 travelers

Price: 228USD/pax

Date: Avaible everyday. (Need booking in advance)

• Lectures about giant panda by our local expert guide
• Volunteer work in Panda base
• Feeding giant panda by yourself

This program has limited 20 quotas per day. So a reservation in advance is required. We have been running this China panda volunteer tour since the starting of this program. We have very good relationship with the panda bases of CCRCGP thanks to many years of cooperation with them! We feel very proud of being able to build a bridge between you and panda. We will do all all can to ensure your full enjoyment of the time in the panda base of CCRCGP.

Discretionary tips to the guide and driver;
Charges for interacting with panda cub such as photo with a panda cub (You need to make a donation on site to the panda base to get this opportunity. We could help you to reserve this program in advance).
Airfare to and out of Chengdu.

• Lunch at staff canteen in panda base.
