Package Overview

When we drive from Reykjavik we will go under the 6 km long underwater tunnel going under the Whale bay fjord (Hvalfjordur). Then we will drive along the peninsula with incredible mountainous scenery on our right. The basalt columns at Ger冒uberg forming geometric patterns in the cliffs. The columns are 14 meters at their highest and around 1-1,5 meters wide. Gerduberg is listed as a natural heritage.

On the way, we drive through small towns and fishing villages, seeing the dramatic bird cliffs and fishing town Arnarstapi. You will also see the picturesque church-shaped mountain Kirkjufell and beautiful small waterfall, Kirkjufellsfoss, we will also visit Djupalonssandur black lava pearl beach is a beautiful place

(not accessible in winter) at Djupalonssandur beach you will find 4 differently sized stones. They are well known (Steinatok) or lifting-stones. They were used to measure the strength of fishermen in Iceland and you can try your strength on these stones yourself.Lunch and refreshments
