Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Cochin - Periyar

  After you arrive in Cochin, our tour representative helps you with an assisted transfer to Periyar. The road journey takes around 4 hours and is a scenic one. Afternoon arrival in Periyar, followed by check-in formalities at the resort. The rest of the day is at leisure. Explore the surroundings on your own. You can embark on a leisure walk. One of the 27 tiger reserves in India, Periyar national park and tiger reserve is a storehouse of endemic, rare, and endangered flora and fauna. It is one of those wildlife reserves in India that remain open even in monsoon season.
  
  Overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Periyar

  Day 2 of your tour is going to be an exciting when you will spend the day having a rendezvous with the exotic wildlife of the region. The morning starts with the popular boar ride in Lake Periyar. This boat ride is of around one and a half hour where you can spot birds, deer, elephants and boars on the banks of the Lake. Next you can try elephant safari or jeep safari. This national park is home to exotic animal and bird species including tiger, gaur, elephant, Nilgiri langur, Indian wild dog, barking deer, Sambar, King Cobra, Python, darter, kingfisher, great Malabar hornbill and so on.
  
  Stay overnight.

• Day 3 : Cochin for Departure

  Post breakfast, on the last day of the tour, get an assisted transfer to Cochin Airport/Railway station for your onward journey.

• Day 4 : Anuradhapura

  We will visit the city of ancient kings of Sri Lanka 鈥淎nuradhapura鈥滱nuradhapura is the first established kingdom of ancient Sri Lanka. Its ruins, beholds the rich culture and heritage of Buddhist culture, which still attracts pilgrims from all over the island. It鈥檚 a city of Temples and museums that exhibits ruins of an ancient kingdom.Evening will be off scheduled for you to freely relax in the hotel

• Day 5 : Spice Garden in Matale & 鈥渟ri Dalada Maligawa鈥� Temple of Tooth

  Visit the Spice Garden in MataleThe spice garden located in Matale offers you a study of Medicinal plans and herbs as well as a glimpse of spices used to prepare traditional foods and curries. You will be led by a tour guide willing to take your through the importance and benefits of spices and herbs whilst he demonstrates how to take care of these commodities.Visit to 鈥淪ri Dalada Maligawa鈥� Temple of ToothCommon to the native tongue as 鈥淭he Dalada Maligawa鈥� is one of the most Sacred Buddhist temples in Sri Lanka, worshiped by Buddhist believers as it houses the relic of the tooth of The Lord Buddha.Enjoy the Tour around Kandy including a visit to Cultural dance show and Gem meuseum.

• Day 6 : Nuwara Eliya

  Early morning departure headed to Nuwara EliyaBe amazed by experiencing the scenery surrounded by hills. Nuwara Eliya is one of the coziest and coldest locations in Sri Lanka all throughout the year. You may walk through plantations such as Tea, Strewberry etc.Short break at Ramboda falls 鈥� One of the finest and picturesque water fallsTour the estates of Tea plantationsSri Lanka is best known for its Tea. You will have the opportunity to learn about the processes involved in how freshly plucked tea leaf ends up in your hand as a cup of tea. You will also engage in Tea tasting, experiencing the aroma and freshness of the multiple flavors of 鈥淐eylon Tea鈥� yourself.Visit to a strawberry farmYou may walk through the plantation of Strawberries where you will be able to pick the fruits yourself, fresh off the trees.Day concludes in Nuwara Eliya

• Day 7 : Horton Plains and Over Night Stay At Thissamaharama

  Be prepared for a cold day amidst the wilderness and forestsHorton Plains (Declared a UNESCO world heritage 鈥� 2010)The Train Ride from Nanu oya to EllaDeparture from Nanu Oya to Ella in the early morning, to experience the scenic view alongside the rail tracks. The breathtaking view along the way, surrounded by nature is a must experience while in Sri LankaExit at Ella, will be headed to Thissamaharama, where you will be accommodated at the hotel

• Day 8 : Yala Safari

  Brace yourself to a trail in the jungle 鈥淵ala Safari鈥� in the morningThis safari is going to excite all you wild life enthusiasts and especially photographers 鈥減repare your cameras folks!鈥�. Yala is one of the well-known game parks in Sri Lanka for bird watching and wild life exploration. You will be able to see many animals in the wilderness. Elephants, Leopards, Porcupines, Peacocks are some that of interest you may have a chance to see.Travel to Bentota, En Route Brief stop at Galle where you will tour around the Galle Fort while you can enjoy some shopping.Relax in the bentota beach in the evening

• Day 9 : Madhu River & Stilt Fishing

  A boat safari ride through the islands and mangroves of Madhu RiverThe 鈥淢adhu river鈥� is of significance for its beauty and the surroundings all together. It鈥檚 also known for its ecological habitat, consists of mangroves and for the fish therapy spas located along the river banks itself, where the fish foot massage will give you a different experience of relaxation altogether. Make sure to experience a cup of cinnamon tea.Witness stilt fishingStilt fishing is one of the oldest traditional techniques of fishing particularly in rivers. It is a technique used by fishermen themselves where they sit upon a single standing branched poles in the water. This is a fascinating art of fishing as the viewer attracts the patience and stillness while he fishes in the water.Visit the Turtle Hatchery, KosgodaThe Turtle hatchery is one of the exciting places of interests, where you will be able to not only learn about turtles but also pet the endangered sea species.Relax and soothe yourself with a long evening walk on the beach or at the hotel

• Day 10 : Bentota

  Ultimate relaxation on the coasts of BentotaTake a walk on the seashores, while the warm tropical winds and perfect sunshine takes your breath away. You can also engage is a quiet time by the beach while you can read on your favorite book or even enjoy the food and beverages alongside the beach restaurants.

• Day 11 : Colombo

  Morning departure from Bentota to ColomboTour around the city of ColomboVisit to the National MuseumA visit to the premises of National monument built in commemoration of Independence from the British rule.A visit to the Gangarama temple which is located in heart of Colombo, and known for its cultural importance and modern architectureShopping spree at your convenienceConclude the day in beautiful Negombo

• Day 12 : See You Soon

  A safe drop off at the airport after enjoying the breakfast from hotel 鈥� Negombo.
