Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin - Munnar

  Drive to Munnar after arriving at Cochin airport or train station (04 HRS). After that, check into the hotel, and the rest of the day is yours to do as you like. Staying in a hotel for the night.

  After breakfast, see Munnar's local attractions, including Mattupatty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Plantation Visit, Rajmalai, and Ervikulam National Park. Returning to the hotel in the evening. Staying in a hotel for the night.

• Day 3 : Thekkady

  After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Thekkady, which is around 125 kilometres (4 hours) from Munnar. After that, check into the hotel and go to the Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary (at an additional cost) before going to a spice farm and shopping. Returning to the hotel in the evening. Staying in a hotel for the night.

• Day 4 : Madurai

  After breakfast, check out of the accommodation and drive to Madurai, which is around 110 kilometres (2 hours) from Thekkady. After that, check into your hotel and head on a Madurai city tour, where you can explore Shri. Meenaxi Temple, ThirumalaiNayak Palace, Gandhi Museum, and other sights. Returning to the hotel in the late evening. Staying in a hotel for the night.

  After breakfast, go to Rameswaram, which is around 175 kilometres (4 hours) from Madurai and there you may see Ramanathaswamy temple, Dhanushukhi temple, and other temples. Staying in a hotel for the night.

• Day 6 : Cape (Kanyakumari)

  After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive 300 kilometres (5-6 hours) from Madurai to the Cape (Kanyakumari). Later, check into your hotel and spend the evening touring the local highlights of Cape Town, including the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Kanyakumari Beach. After that, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

• Day 7 : Kovalam

  After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Kovalam, which is around 75 kilometres (2 hours) from Cape Town. After that, check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at Kovalam Beach. Staying in a hotel for the night.

  After breakfast, drive to Trivandrum, which is about a half-hour drive away, and visit Lord Vishnu temple, Kuthiramalika palace, Zoo, art gallery and museum, and Shri Padmanabhaswamy temple (Mandatory dress code to enter temple). Back in Kovalam in the evening. Stay at a hotel for the night.

• Day 9 : Alleppey - Kumarakom

  After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Kumarakom, which is around 160 kilometres (5 hours) from Thekkady. Check out of the hotel and go to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Backwater Cruises are a great way to spend the evening (Extra Cost). Returning to the hotel in the late evening. Staying in a hotel for the night.
