Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Moshi to Rongai Gate to Simba Camp

  After breakfast, drive to the Rongai Gate (1,950m) for registration and formalities.
  Begin the trek through lush rainforest, ascending gradually towards Simba Camp (2,650m).
  Enjoy the rich biodiversity of the forest and the first views of Kilimanjaro.
  Settle into camp for the night and rest.

• Day 2 : Simba Camp to Kikelewa Camp

  Depart Simba Camp and continue the ascent through moorland and open grasslands.
  Trek towards Second Cave (3,450m) before descending into the beautiful Kikelewa Camp (3,600m).
  Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and relax at camp.
  Rest and acclimatize in preparation for the days ahead.

• Day 3 : Kikelewa Camp to Mawenzi Tarn Camp

  Begin the day with a steady climb towards Mawenzi Tarn Camp (4,330m).
  Trek across the lunar-like landscape, with stunning views of Mawenzi Peak.
  Arrive at Mawenzi Tarn Camp and marvel at the pristine alpine scenery.
  Rest and acclimatize at camp, hydrating and refueling for the summit push.

• Day 4 : Mawenzi Tarn Camp to Kibo Hut

  Depart Mawenzi Tarn Camp and ascend towards Kibo Hut (4,700m), your final base camp.
  Trek across the Saddle, a barren expanse between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.
  Arrive at Kibo Hut in the afternoon and rest for the remainder of the day.
  Eat an early dinner and retire to your tent for a few hours of rest before the summit attempt.

• Day 5 : Summit Day - Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut

  Awake before midnight for a light meal and begin the summit ascent under the cover of darkness.
  Trek through the night, guided by headlamps and the rhythmic crunch of gravel underfoot.
  Reach Gilman's Point (5,681m) at the edge of the crater rim, where you'll witness a breathtaking sunrise.
  Continue along the crater rim to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa.
  Celebrate your achievement and soak in the panoramic views before beginning the descent.
  Descend to Horombo Hut (3,720m) for a well-deserved rest and overnight stay.

• Day 6 : Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate - Departure

  Descend from Horombo Hut through lush rainforest to Marangu Gate (1,860m).
  Receive your summit certificates and bid farewell to your guides and fellow trekkers.
  Transfer back to your hotel in Moshi for a celebratory dinner and overnight stay.
