The Mount Kilimanjaro Hike through Marangu Route, known as the "Coca-Cola Route," is the most accessible and well-established path to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. This 7-day (6-night) itinerary offers a gradual ascent with hut accommodations, making it a popular choice for trekkers seeking a structured and comfortable climb.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi- Moshi

  Pick up from Nairobi in the morning and drive to Namanga border post for entry to Tanzania. (or Pick up from KIA) Proceed via Arusha to arrive Moshi in the late afternoon for overnight at Keys hotel BB

• Day 2 : Moshi- Marangu

  Leave Moshi in the morning and drive to Marangu gate where you start 3-4 hours hike to Mandara hut 2,720m. for dinner and overnight. FB.

• Day 3 : Marangu-Horombo

  After breakfast, make a 5-6 hrs. hike to Horombo hut 3,720m for dinner and overnight. FB.

• Day 4 : Horombo- Kibo

  After breakfast, take a 6 hrs. hike to Kibo hut 4,750m. arriving in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight. FB.

• Day 5 : Kibo- Uhuru Peak -Horombo

  Before midnight tea/coffee and then start the hike to the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro via Gilman point and then continue to the summit arriving at Uhuru Peak 5,895m. early morning for sunrise views. After photos, descend back to Kibo for breakfast and then hike down to Horombo for overnight. FB.

• Day 6 : Horombo- Arusha

  After breakfast, descend via Mandara hut to Marangu gate where you receive the certificate of achievement and later drive back to Arusha for overnight at Mt Meru hotel. BB.

• Day 7 : Moshi - Nairobi

  Leave Moshi after breakfast by shuttle bus to arrive Nairobi in the afternoon. ( Transfer to the JKIA).
