3p.m. – Meet our company representative at the Hotel lobby. We all again assemble in the hotel lobby for a shopping experience of Jaipur. Shopping can be a unique experience is Jaipur and thanks should go, in a large sense, to its founder, Sawai Jai Singh. As a patron of the arts and crafts and as a wise planner, Swai Jai Singh freely invited craftsmen and artists to the city at its foundation. For handicrafts like puppets, bandhanwars, wall hangings, white metal artifacts we will go to Linking Road in Bapu Bazaar next to Saraogi Mansion. Nehru Bazaar is also a must visit place for textiles, local perfumes, shoes made of camel skin (jutties/ mojaries), Rajasthani trinkets and bandhani work.
After shopping, we drive for a delicious dinner in Spice Court. It is one of the supreme multi cuisines restaurants in town. Activities like Puppet Shows, Churi (Indian Bangles) Shops, and Chinese Fiesta etc keep the visitors hooked to the delight of eating food at the restaurant.

Day 2 : FULL DAY JAIPUR SIGHTSEEING

Guests to assemble in the Hotel lobby at 9:30 a.m. after breakfast
Today we will visit the elegant Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) – this elaborate building, now little more than a façade, is encrusted with delicate screens and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneak views of the outside world.
Visit Maharajah’s City Palace, now partly a museum displays a unique fusion of Mughal and Hindu architecture, and house a rare collection of paintings, Rajput armory and costumes

3:00 p.m. – Visit the dramatic hilltop fortress at Amber; a fine amalgamation of Hindu and Muslim architecture and ornamentation, built in the 16th century. An elephant ride (at extra cost) will help you ascend to this hilltop fort. Enjoy the elephant ride, like the Maharajah’s used to. Alternatively, you could take a jeep ride (at extra cost) up to the fort.

Day 3 : JAIPUR TO BIKANER (330 KMS/ 6 HOURS)

Today we proceed to the desert city Bikaner by road.
BIKANER: – Bikaner was founded in 1486 by Bika, one of the fourteen sons of Rao Jodha. Bikaner – lying in the north of the desert state, Bikaner is dotted with many sand dunes. More popularly called the camel country, Bikaner is renowned for the best riding camels in the world. The exotic camel safaris, its gorgeous forts and the worship of thousands of holy rats at Karni Mata temple are some of the most interesting aspects of Bikaner. The camel festival at Bikaner held in the month of January is also an event worth witnessing if one wants to get the actual color of the place.

Today we depart to Jaisalmer
JAISALMER: – Rising from the heart of the Thar Desert, like a golden mirage, is the magical city of Jaisalmer. A commanding fort etched in yellow sandstone, stands with its entire awesome splendor, dominating the amber – hued city. The fort inside, perched on its hilltop, contains some gems of Jain temple building, while beautifully decorated merchants havelis, are scattered through the town. Jaisalmer gives convenient access to the surrounding desert wilderness, sand dunes and oasis villages, ideal for camel rides and safaris.

Post Lunch, meet you local trip leader. Visit the historic Jaisalmer Fort, Nathmalji-ki-Haveli and Patwonki-Haveli, three beautifully sculptured Jain temples built between the 12th and 13th centuries and five interconnected palaces.

Day 5 : JAISALMER – SAM SAND DUNES (42 Kms/ 1 hour)

Today we drive to Sam Sand Dunes
Arrival at Sam Sand Dune, Check into deluxe camps.
SAM SAND DUNES: – Sam Sand Dunes, 42 away km from Jaisalmer, is the most popular excursion to see the total sandy bush less desert. It has a truly glorious stretch of sweeping sand dunes. It is best to be here at sunrise or sunset, and many camel safaris spend a night at the dunes. The best way to see this and other sites around Jaisalmer is to take a came safari.

Day 6 : SAM SAND DUNES TO JODHPUR (314 Kms/ 6 hrs)

Today we drive to Jodhpur
JODHPUR: – Jodhpur “The Sun City” was founded by Rao Jodha, a chief of the Rathore clan, in 1459. It is named after him only. Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India was previously known as Marwar. Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan. It is divided into two parts – the old city and the new city. The old city is separated by a10 km long wall surrounding it. Also it has eight Gates leading out of it. The new city is outside the walled city.
Jodhpur is a very popular tourist destination. The landscape is scenic and mesmerizing. Jodhpur city has many beautiful palaces and forts such as Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhavan Palace and Rai ka Bag Palace. Other charms of Jodhpur include Government museum and it’s beautiful Umed garden. The city is known as the “Sun City” because of its bright and sunny weather throughout the year. Post Lunch, meet your local trip leader and visit the Meharangarh Fort & Umaid Bhawan Palace. Umaid Bhavan Palace is very fascinating. It was constructed it in 20th century. A part of the palace has now been converted into a hotel and a museum. Mehrangarh Fort (1459 AD) built by Rao Jodha who considered themselves the descendents of Lord Rama. In this palace you would see different miniature paintings & cradle room.

Day 7 : JODHPUR TO UDAIPUR (280 KMS/ 5-6 HOURS)

UDAIPUR: – The city of Dawn, Udaipur is a lovely land around the azure water lakes, hemmed in by the lush hills of the Aravalis. A vision in white drenched in romance and beauty, Udaipur is a fascinating blend of sights, sounds and experiences – an inspiration for the imagination of the poets, painters and writers. Its kaleidoscope of fairy-tale palaces, lakes, temples, gardens and narrow lanes strewn with stalls, carry the flavour of heroic past, epitomising valour and chivalry. Their reflection in the placid waters of the Lake Pichhola is an enticing sight.
Udaipur is the jewel of Mewar – a kingdom ruled by the Sisodia dynasty for 1200 years. The foundation of the city has an interesting legend associated with it. According to it, Maharana Udai Singh, the founder, was hunting one day when he met a holy man meditating on a hill overlooking the Lake Pichhola.

Enroute visit Jain temples at Ranakpur, superbly preserved in a near-perfect condition for over 500 years. The most attractive features are the 29 halls of the temple, which have 1444 pillars.
