Package Overview

Kerala is a state in the south-west region of India on the Malabar coast. It was formed on 1 November 1956 as per the States Reorganisation Act by combining various Malayalam-speaking regions. Spread over 38,863 km2 (15,005 sq mi) it is bordered by Karnataka to the north and north east, Tamil Nadu to the east and south, and the Lakshadweep Sea to the west. With 33,387,677 inhabitants as per the 2011 census, Kerala is the twelfth largest state by population and is divided into 14 districts. Malayalam is the most widely spoken and official language of the state. The state capital is Thiruvananthapuram, other major cities include Kochi, Kozhikode, Kollam and Thrissur.

COCHIN – Queen of the Arabian Sea (in spite of sharing no borders with the Arabian Sea), Kochi was an important spice trading centre on the Laccadive Sea coast from the 14th century. Occupied by the Portuguese Empire in 1503, Kochi was the first of the European colonies in colonial India. It remained the main seat of Portuguese India until 1530, when Goa was chosen instead. The city was later occupied by the Dutch and the British, with the Kingdom of Cochin becoming a princely state.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin

  Arrive at Cochin airport or station. Check-in to the hotel and later go for local sightseeing of Cochin where you can visit Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Chinese fishing nets, St. Franchise church, Marine Drive. Evening back to hotel.Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 2 : Munnar

  After Breakfast processed for the Munnar which is 150kms (4hrs) drive from Cochin. Later Check-in to the hotel and whole day for relaxation. Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 3 : Munnar

  After breakfast go for local sightseeing of Munnar where you can visit Mattupatty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Plantation visit, Rajmalai, Ervikulam National Park. Evening back to hotel.Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 4 : Thekkady

  After breakfast check-out from hotel and processed for the Thekkady which is around 125kms (4hrs) drive from Munnar. Later check-in to the hotel and visit Periyar Wild life sanctuary ( Extra Cost ) and later go for spices plantation and shopping. Evening back to hotel.Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 5 : Kumarakom/Alleppey

  After breakfast check-out from hotel and processed for the Kumarakom/Alleppey which is around 160kms (5hrs) drive from Thekkady. Later check-out from hotel and visit Kumarakom bird sanctuary. Evening enjoy at back waters Cruises (Extra Cost). Late evening back to hotel.Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 6 :

  After breakfast check out from hotel and processed for Cochin which is 100kms (2hrs) drive from Kumarakom for your flight or train for your home with lots of beautiful memories of tours.
