Package Overview

The Kas Plateau situated amidst high hill plateaus and grasslands near Tapola turns into a 'valley of flowers' during monsoon season, especially during and after monsoons from the month of June to August.

As per the Forest Department's Board at Kas Pathar, there are more than 150 or more types of flowers, shrubs and grasses that are found in Kas. The orchids bloom here for a period of 3-4 weeks during this season. Many of the flowers and plants that grow here are insectivorousvorous.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Pune to Kaas Plateau

  Early morning arrival at Satara, Introduction and briefing session. Post breakfast proceed to Kaas Pathar. Explore Kaas plateau and Kaumudini Lake. Then visit Bamnoli lake (If time Permits).
  Lunch and return journey.
