Jim Corbett National Park, which is a part of the larger Corbett Tiger Reserve, a Project Tiger Reserve lies in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. The magical landscape of Corbett is well known and fabled for its tiger richness.

Established in the year 1936 as Hailey National Park, Corbett has the glory of being India's oldest and most prestigious National Park. It is also being honoured as the place where Project Tiger was first launched in 1973. This unique tiger territory is best known as the father who gave birth to the Project Tiger in India to protect the most endangered species and the royal animal of India called tigers.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Depart to Corbett

  Depart to Corbett National Park. Overnight train travel.
• Day 2 : In Corbett

  Arrival at CORBETT National Park. After fresh-up, take first safari. At evening safari in Bijrani. Stay at wildlife lodge at Ramnagar.
• Day 3 : In Corbett

  Check out from the lodge and set out for a morning safari in to Dhikala Zone. This zone is considered to be one of the prime wildlife areas of Corbett. Lunch and evening Safari in Dhikala. Dinner and Overnight at Dhikala / Gairal Forest Rest-houses.
• Day 4 : Jungle Safaries

  Explore Dhikala and surrounding regions on morning and evening jeep safaris.Located in the heart of Corbett Tiger Reserve is the wildlife rich area of Dhikala. The vast grasslands called Chaurs along with the lush Sal forests and the Ramganga river together make this a very rich mix of habitats offering an amazing wildlife viewing experience.

  Explore interiors of this mesmerizing forest on morning safari. Breakfast and lunch at the forest rest house. Post lunch we take the last safari and travel to Ramnagar via Dhangarhi gate. Dinner at Ramnagar. Overnight train travel.
