The Lemosho Route is one of the longer and more scenic routes for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. It's known for its stunning views, diverse landscapes, and relatively lower traffic compared to some other routes.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp

  Drive from Moshi or Arusha to Londorossi Gate (about 2–3 hours).
  Registration and formalities
  Begin trekking through a lush rainforest.
  Camp at Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,780 meters or 9,121 feet)

  Trek through the rainforest, entering the heath zone.

  Trek the famous Barranco Wall, a challenging but exhilarating ascent.

• Day 6 : Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

  Ascend to Barafu Camp (4,673 meters or 15,331 feet), the final base camp before the summit.

• Day 7 : Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak, then to Mweka Camp

  Early morning start for the summit attempt

  Continue the descent to Mweka Camp (3,100 meters or 10,170 feet).
