Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : July 13 - Embark Vilshofen

Embark your cruise in Vilshofen. This evening meet your fellow passengers on board.
Day 2 : July 14 - Arrive Vilshofen

Explore Vilshofen鈥檚 beautiful old town before cruising to Passau, known as the 鈥淐ity of Three Rivers." Join a walking tour or if you prefer to be more active, hike high into the hills for a visit to the 鈥淰este Oberhaus,鈥� Passau鈥檚 Castle Hill.
Day 3 : July 15 - Linz

The ship arrives in Linz where you鈥檒l have several choices of excursions. Opt for a full-day excursion to Salzburg where you鈥檒l tour the historic center, Mirabell Gardens, Residenz Square and the Old Market. En route to Salzburg, stop at Mondsee, home of the famed Basilica St. Michael and site of the wedding scene in 鈥淭he Sound of Music.鈥� Alternatively, you can join a morning walking tour through Linz's old city center and by the Mozart House; or go on a guided bike tour along the city鈥檚 famed 鈥淐ulture Mile鈥� and the Danube. During the afternoon, you have three more options of excursions. Choose a half-day in Salzburg or take a scenic drive through the beautiful Austrian Lake District with a stop in St. Wolfgang. You can also choose to visit the charming mountain town, 膶esk媒 Krumlov, located just over the Czech-Austrian border.
Day 4 : July 16 - Weissenkirchen - D眉rnstein

Cruise to Weissenkirchen, gateway to D眉rnstein located in the heart of the Wachau Valley. Once here, you can choose to join a walking tour in D眉rnstein along its cobblestone streets to the Baroque Stiftskirche, D眉rnstein鈥檚 famed church tower, and then visit Melk鈥檚 magnificent Benedictine Abbey. For the more active adventurer, hike up to the fortress where Richard the Lionheart was once held. As an alternative excursion, visit a local apricot grower, where you鈥檒l enjoy the regions finest apricot treats. Later in the evening, enjoy a special wine tasting of locally grown, world-renowned Riesling and Gr眉ner Veltliner in Weissenkirchen.
Day 5 : July 17 - Vienna

The 鈥淐ity of Waltzes鈥� offers a treasure trove of gems and you have three ways to discover them. Join a city tour showcasing its regal splendors, including the majestic Opera House, St. Stephen's Cathedral and the former Imperial Palace of the Habsburgs before concluding in Vienna鈥檚 historic city center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For a more active exploration of the area, take a guided bike ride along the Danube. During the afternoon, you can enjoy leisure time or pedal your way to Klosterneuburg Monastery on a guided cycling tour.
Day 6 : July 18 - Bratislava

Host to the crowning ceremonies of 11 Hungarian kings and queens between 1536 and 1830, Bratislava certainly has earned the title 鈥淐oronation City of Kings鈥� as you鈥檒l discover during your walking tour. Or join a culinary host to sample traditional Slovakian specialties, as well as learn how to prepare stuffed potato ravioli with an opportunity to taste your own creation. For a more active adventure, hike up to Bratislava Castle, offering magnificent views of the city.
Day 7 : July 19 - Budapest

Experience Budapest in one of two ways: on a city tour or a hike. Your city tour begins with a visit to the vibrant Great Market Hall brimming with vendors selling everything from food to souvenirs. The remainder of this tour takes you to both the Buda (hilly) and Pest (flat) sides of the river. As an alternative choice, hike up to Castle Hill for breathtaking views of the city below. Spend your last evening on board cruising around the famed Parliament Building as the city turns on all her dazzling lights.
Day 8 : July 20 - Budapest

Disembark the ship as you prepare for your flight home.

DEPOSIT, REGISTRATION, FINAL PAYMENT

A $800 per person deposit is required no later than 5 business days after we confirm your cruise, or cruise accommodation will cancel. Fax, internet, e-mail, or phone requests are welcome. Full payment is due 121 days prior to the departure date. If a booking is made any time prior to departure, once confirmed, full payment is required. Packages shipped outside of the USA will incur additional shipping charges.

FORM OF PAYMENT

Bank/Certified/Checks, Money Orders, ACH (check by phone) or Wire Transfers (please fax a copy of bank confirmation when wiring funds) are accepted forms of payment at any time. Personal checks are acceptable if received more than 30 days prior to departure date. 206 Tours accepts PayPal payments (send to: info@206tours.com). You may also make Direct Credit Card Payments to 206 Tours (American Express, Discover, Visa and Master Card). In order to speed the processing of deposits and final payments, please note the departure date on deposit and balance of payment checks. Every reservation must be accompanied by a signed application. Returned checks will incur a $50 service fee. In case of computer or human billing error, we reserve the right to re-invoice participants with corrected billing.

PRICE GUARANTEE

Rates shown on website are based on double or twin occupancy and are as per each program?s inclusions. All prices are shown in U.S. Dollars and are calculated on currency rates and fares in existence on 05/23/2018. 206 Tours reserves the right to alter prices at any time prior to departure and without prior notice if circumstances so warrant. Any devaluation or revaluation of currencies may effect published price.

NOT INCLUDED

Items of a personal nature, such as telephone calls, mini bar, laundry, food, beverages or alcohol not included and not on regular d'hote menu (these extra items will be billed to you before leaving the hotel or restaurant); room service, optional activities, and laundry. Insurance , Cancel for Any Reason Protection Plan @ $299, portage at airports, excess baggage fees and passport or visa fees.

PASSPORTS, VISAS & DOCUMENTS

A valid US passport is required for US citizens. If you do not have a valid passport please contact your closest passport office or see Passport Information. Passports must be valid at least 6 months after return date. US or Canadian citizens do not need to obtain visas for most countries 206 Tours services. For all other nationalities please consult the country of 's consulate. When and if visa is required it is passenger?s responsibility to obtain one. Cancellations due to lack of appropriate documents will incur usual penalties. A Passport Card is not useful for International Air Travel. Attempting to use this instead of a Passport Book will result in a denial of boarding by the airlines and entry by the legal authorities

FINAL DOCUMENTS

Final documents are issued upon receipt of final payment only and within 3 weeks of departure. Documents are not guaranteed if final payment is not received on time. Upon receipt of your documents you are responsible to check your itinerary, spelling of your name, dates, times and other important information to insure their validity. Should your final documents have any errors it is the passenger?s responsibility to contact 206 Tours immediately.

PARTICIPATION

206 Tours and suppliers contracted for services reserve the right to refuse to accept or retain any person whose behavior is deemed likely to affect the smooth operations of a tour, or adversely affect the enjoyment or safety of other passengers. 206 Tours, its agents, and suppliers shall be under no liability to any such person for refund, compensation, repatriation or any other matters arising.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Once a deposit or partial/full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing. Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received. In addition to a $500 per person administration fee, the following charges apply:

121 days prior to departure 10%

120-91 days prior to departure 25%

90 - 61 days prior to departure 35%

60- 21 days prior to departure 50%

20 - 07 days prior to departure 80%

07 days prior to departure or less no refund

Additionally, once tickets are issued the ticket value is non-refundable. Requests for a refund must be in writing, mail, fax or email. Phone calls cannot be used as a form of cancellation. Refunds will be issued within 30 to 60 days of receipt of written notice. No change of names or substitutions are permitted. No refund or cancellation fees will be waived due to death or sickness.
