Package Overview

Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the home to the endangered one horned rhinoceros (2048 rhinos as per 2009 census). Besides, the park has several species of mammals and birds. The park has 70% of the world population of the Asiatic Water Buffalos and the Eastern Swamp Deer. The Park has the highest density of the endangered Royal Bengal Tigers in India with a number of 32 tigers per 100 sq.km against 20 in Corbet NP as per a census report in April, 2010. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati Airport-Kaziranga NP (05 hr)

  Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport, transfer to Project Tiger Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the home to the endangered one horned rhinoceros (2048 rhinos as per 2009 census). Besides, the park has several species of mammals and birds. The park has 70% of the world population of the Asiatic Water Buffalos and the Eastern Swamp Deer. • Day 2 : Kaziranga NP

  Full day safari at Kaziranga. After breakfast, jeep safari in the Central range of the park. Again after lunch we take up another jeep safari this time covering the western range of the park. Overnight at Iora.

  We start off early in the morning for an elephant safari for 01 hr in the central/western range of the park. Later after breakfast jeep safari in the Eastern range of the park. The afternoon is free for tea garden visits etc. Overnight at Iora.
