The Kathmandu Lumbini Pokhara tour is an exciting journey that passes through many exotic and beautiful towns and cities. Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal well-known for its temples and is listed as a ‘World Heritage Site’ by UNESCO. Around Kathmandu Valley, you will have splendid views of historical places and Pilgrimages such as Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and many more. After exploring culturally rich Kathmandu you will take a drive to Lumbini. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha, founder of Buddhism a pilgrimage site of the Buddhists around the world. You will tour Lumbini around the auspicious place where Lord Buddha was born. After exploring this sacred historic place you will then continue driving to the city of Lakes Pokhara. Pokhara is the second major tourist hub of Nepal which is situated 200km away from Kathmandu. The tour in Pokhara will be centered on the beautiful places of the Pokhara which includes the places like Phewa Lake, Rupa Lake, a view of Annapurna ranges, Mahendra cave, Davi’s Fall and International Mountain Museum.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Kathmandu

  Upon your arrival at the airport or designated arrival station, our representative will be there to greet you and provide a warm welcome. They will assist in transferring you to the hotel you have booked for your stay. Once settled in, our knowledgeable guide will meet with you to provide a detailed briefing about your trip to Nepal, including the itinerary and important information. In the evening, take the opportunity to explore the vibrant streets of Thamel by enjoying a leisurely walk, immersing yourself in the bustling atmosphere and diverse cultural offerings.

• Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing

  The tour starts early in the morning at 7 am from your hotel where your guide will pick you up. You will then drive to the most sacred Hindu temple Pashupatinath. Pashupatinath is a Shiva temple visited by millions of Hindu pilgrims on Mahashivaratri and Teej festivals. You will enter this world heritage site and observe many Shivalayas, Ram Mandir, Slesmantak forest, and Ghats on the bank of the holy river Bagmati. Your guide will tell you interesting stories of God and Goddesses related to the Pashupatinath temple. Afterward, you will take a drive to Boudhanath stupa through the bustling market of Chabahil and Boudha. Bouddhanath stupa is a popular touristic place in Kathmandu Valley. It has been the center of belief for both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims. You will spend some time circling this stupa and experience its blissful ambiance. Later you will head towards Swyambhunath temple also known as monkey temple. On the way, your guide will take you to a Nepali restaurant for lunch. Swyambhunath temple holds important historical and religious significance. You will see a spectacular view of Kathmandu Valley from the temple. After exploring this heritage site you will drive to your hotel and spend the rest of your evening.

• Day 3 : Kathmandu to Pokhara

  We commence our journey towards Pokhara at approximately 6 am, with a refreshing breakfast en route. After a scenic drive of approximately 6 hours, we reach Pokhara, where we indulge in a delightful lunch before embarking on a sightseeing tour. Our itinerary includes visits to renowned attractions such as Mahendra Cave, Bindabasini Temple, Seti River Gorge, International Mountain Museum, and Devi's Falls. As the evening sets in, we take a leisurely stroll around the enchanting Phewa Lake. To conclude the day, we retreat to a comfortable hotel located in the picturesque Lakeside area of Pokhara, where we spend the night.

• Day 4 : Pokhara to Lumbini

  We will begin our day with an early morning drive to Sarangkot, where we will witness the captivating sunrise and behold the breathtaking panoramic view of the Annapurna range. After a fulfilling breakfast, our journey continues towards Lumbini, a drive of approximately 6 hours. Upon arrival, we will explore the significant archaeological sites of Lumbini, offering a glimpse into the sacred birthplace of Lord Buddha. Alongside, we will visit other historical ruins like Gotihawa, Kudan, and Niglihawa. To ensure a comfortable stay, accommodations for the night will be arranged at a local hotel.
