Overview:
This is a 14 day tour visiting the top sites of Jordan and Isarel / Palestine. A private tour with your own driver, and guide if requested.

Tour Highlights:
Amman - Explore the ancient city of Amman.
Aqaba - Take your pick of the water sport delights of the Red Sea, from snorkelling and scuba to windsurfing or just relaxing on the beach.
Ajloun, Jerash & Um Qais - Touch history at these Greek, Roman and Crusader sites.
Petra - Discover the Rose Red City, lost for centuries to the outside world.
Wadi Rum - Experience the majestic desert of Wadi Rum
Jerusalem Old City - Walk through 4,000 years of history in this amazing city.
Dead Sea - Relax and float in the Dead Sea at the lowest point on earth.
Nazareth & Galilee - Walk where Jesus grew up and taught people.
Tel Aviv, Jaffa, Caesarea & Haifa - Take a trip up the Mediterranean coast.Entrances fees (approx $150 - paid directly by clients).
All lunches and all dinners.
Visa fee to Jordan ($60 pp or free for groups – certain conditions apply).
Exit tax from Jordan (10 JD / $15 pp at land borders). Airport tax is usually included on air-tickets. Taxes subject to change with no notice.
Exit tax out of Palestine/ Israel: NIS 182 pp (approx $52 pp - subject to Change).
Transfers between the Israeli terminal and the Jordanian terminal. Cost of shuttle bus is JOD 7 pp ( $10) plus JOD 1.50 ($2) per piece of luggage each way.

Day 1 : Arrival
Collection from the airport and transfer direct to your hotel. Depending upon your flight arrival time, we can offer additional activities for the day.
Overnight in Amman.
Day 2 : Ajloun, Jerash, Umm Qays
Head north to walk through history in Jerash, regarded as one of the most important and best preserved Roman cities in the Middle East.
Then on to Ajloun and visit the castle, dominating the Ajloun skyline and built to ward off the Crusader armies at the key trade and pilgrimage intersection between Jerusalem, Cairo, Damascus and Mecca.
Travel to the northern tip of Jordan and savor the beauty of Umm Qais, the Greek and Roman city overlooking the Jordan valley and the Sea of Galilee.
Overnight in Amman.
Day 3 : Amman City Tour, Madaba, Mount Nebo & Dead Sea
Tour the old city of Amman exploring the Citadel and the Roman Theatre, two of the most popular archaeological sites in the city.
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant to experience authentic Falafel and Hummus.
Explore the town of Madaba and discover the amazing Byzantine mosaics excavated from throughout the town.
See the ‘Madaba Map’, the oldest preserved mosaic map of the Holy Lands.
Drive to Mount Nebo and wonder at the view where Moses looked across to the Promised Land and later died and was buried.
Then head down the winding road to the lowest point on earth to the Dead Sea. Overnight at the Dead Sea.
Day 4 : Dead Sea
Spend the day floating and relaxing at the Dead Sea. Enjoy the sunshine and view whilst trying out the invigorating mud bath to cleanse the skin.
Then head south to Petra and stay overnight there.
Day 5 : Petra
Marvel at the beauty of the ‘Lost City’, the Red Rose City of Petra, exploring its many caves and tombs.
Walk through the Siq and be astounded at the magnificent Treasury, the entrance guarding the ancient Nabatean city, now one of the Modern 7 Wonders of the World.
Either stay overnight in a hotel in Petra, or take the optional night under the stars in Wadi Rum (Drive to Wadi Rum and marvel at the sunset and gaze at the stars in the night sky whilst enjoying the legendary hospitality of the Bedouin, before sleeping at the foot of the awesome mountains exploding out from the desert landscape).

Day 6 : Wadi Rum
Enjoy the wilderness adventure of a 4x4 jeep tour of Wadi Rum, following in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia, climbing sand dunes and rock bridges.
Overnight in Aqaba
Day 7 : Aqaba
Jordan’s window to the Red Sea, Aqaba brings a refreshing variation to the sands of Wadi Rum and Petra.
Free day to spend relaxing as you choose, either exploring the markets of the downtown or visiting one of the beach resorts to swim, snorkel or scuba dive to admire the world-renowned multi-coloured coral reefs, fish and wildlife under the clear blue water. Driver and Guide at your disposal.
Return to Amman and overnight in Amman.
Day 8 : Jericho, Masada and Qumran
7:00am transfer from Amman to the Allenby Bridge Crossing (using VIP or Shuttle bus - customer to pay directly) and on to Jericho, the oldest continually inhabited city in the world.
Stop at Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.
Drive along the Dead Sea to visit the stronghold of Masada. This grand fortress that King Herod built was the scene of the last stand by the zealots fighting the Romans.The impressive excavations and setting evoke a dramatic event that has become loaded with symbolism.

Day 9 : Jerusalem Old City
Start with a sweeping view of the Old City from the Mount of Olives. Then visit the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed the night before he was crucified.
Enter the Old City of Jerusalem and walk through the Four Quarters (Muslim, Christian, Jewish and Armenian) to view the major landmarks of 4000 years of dramatic history, including the Dome of the Rock, the Western Wall and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Day 10 : Bethlehem and Jerusalem New City
Depart from your hotel to Bethlehem and see the Church of Nativity, and on to Shepherd's Fields in Beit Sahour.
Drive through the new city of Jerusalem. Time to visit the Israel Museum to see the fascinating 2nd Temple Model of Jerusalem and the Shrine of the Book, home of the Dead Sea Scrolls, or a more reflective visit to the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial. Discuss with your driver your choice of sites for the afternoon.

Day 11 : Free Day in Jerusalem
Free day to explore Jerusalem, the markets, museums and shops at your leisure. No driver or guide this day.
Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 12 : Tel Aviv, Jaffa, Caesarea & Haifa
Drive to Tel Aviv, stopping at Rabin Square and the part of the city designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site because of its Bauhaus and Art Deco buildings.
Visit Carmel Market and Old Jaffa, a port town several thousand years old and now an artist’s colony.
Then on to Caesarea, an ancient capital of the Roman province, where you view the impressive archaeological remains of the Roman and Byzantine city that once dominated the region. It was from Caesarea that Paul set sail for Rome, an event that eventually brought Christianity to the Western World.
Continue up the coast to Haifa and view the amazing Baha’i Gardens.
Overnight in Tiberius.
Day 13 : Nazareth & Galilee / Tiberius
Visit Capernaum where you will see the Synagogue where Jesus taught and the other remains of this once prosperous town on the shores of the Sea of Galilee that became his adopted home.
You will visit the Mount of Beatitudes, scene of the famous Sermon on the Mount, and Tabgha, where the miracle of the feeding the 5000 is said to have happened.
Stop at the Church of the Primacy where Peter was told by Jesus that to continue his work, and try walking on water.
Then on to Nazareth, the boyhood village of Jesus, now a bustling city.
At the Church of the Annunciation you will see visitors from all corners of the world, and this is reflected in the décor of the modern building.
Finish tour at 17:00 and return to Allenby Crossing (crossing using VIP or Shuttle bus service - customer to pay directly) and back to Amman.
Overnight in Amman.
Day 14 : Depart
Free day and transfer to airport.
Depending upon the time of your flight, we can arrange optional tours such Bethany Beyond the Jordan, where Jesus was baptized.
