Package Overview

This is a Two Day tour to Jerusalem and Bethlehem from Amman or other points in Jordan visiting the main Christian sites of this special city. It starts and ends in Amman or elsewhere in Jordan. It includes the Mount of Olives, Gethsemane, the Old City of Jerusalem with the Via Dolorosa, Church of Holy Sepulchre, and Dome of the Rock and Wailing Wall. It continues the next day to Bethlehem, Ein Karem, and the New City of Jerusalem.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Amman, Bridge, Mount of Olives, Old City Tour

  Pick up from your door in Amman and transfer to King Hussein / Allenby Bridge Israeli Terminal.
  
  Drive to the Mount of Olives for a wonderful view of Jerusalem.
  
  Then go to the Pater Noster with the Lord's Prayer in different languages.
  
  From the Mount of Olives the traditional Palm Sunday route takes you to the foot of the hill and sees the Garden of Gethsemane with its ancient olive trees.
  
  Enter the Old City through the Dung gate to visit the Wailing (or western) Wall and view the Haram Al Sharif with the Dome of the Rock.
  
  Walk the Via Dolorosa with its Stations of the Cross till you arrive at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Jesus was crucified and buried, and then rose again.
  
  Leave the city through the bazaars to the west by Jaffa Gate.
  
  Ask your driver/guide about places and times for local Mass.
  
  Overnight at a Christian Hospice in Jerusalem.​
• Day 2 : Bethlehem, Shepherds Field and New City of Jerusalem

  Depart from your hotel to Bethlehem, crossing into the West Bank and stopping at the Separation Wall.
  
  Then into Bethlehem to see the Church of Nativity.
  
  Onto the Shepherd's Fields in Beit Sahour.
  
  Visit the picturesque village of Ein Karem, the birthplace of John the Baptist.
  
  Return to Allenby/ King Hussein Bridge and on to Amman for drop off.
