Package Overview

From south to the north on Karakarum Highway you will cross different areas. This is a program for nature lovers, during drive up from Islamabad to Hunza on the way you can view different landscape, people, and lifestyle in Mansera, Besham, Kohistan, Chilas, Gilgit and Hunza. Each area keeps its own identification. Fairy Meadow is lush green plateau situated in the foot gin of Nanga Parbat at the Western edge of the Himalayan Range. The name Fairy Meadows is part of the legend that Fairies have their heaven on this lush green plateau. This legendry name Fairy Meadows is everlasting gift of the western tourist to the local people.Fairy Meadow offers superb views of the Nanga Parbat (8125 m) the highest mountain in Pakistan in Himalayas. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Islamabad

  Our guide and driver will pick you at the airport in Islamabad or Lahore and transfer to Hotel in Islamabad for overnight stay.
• Day 2 : Islamabad - Chilas

  Early morning drive to Chilas it takes approximately 10 hours to reach Chilas from Islamabad, This day we will drive on the Karakoram High which is the highest paved international road in the world. It connects China and Pakistan across the Karakoram mountain range, through the Khunjerab Pass, at an altitude of 4,693 m/15,397 feet as confirmed by both SRTM and multiple GPS readings. Overnight at Chilas.
• Day 3 : Chilas - Fairy Meadows

  Departure for Fairy Meadows, we will transfer to the mountain jeep at Raikot bridge for further drive to Tatto village on the narrow Jeep track. Arrive in Tatto village and start trek to Fairy Meadows, Arrive at Fairy Meadows in afternoon. Evening to walk around, overnight in huts.
• Day 4 : Nanga Parbat

  Day Excursion to Nanga Parbat Base Camp.
• Day 5 : Fairy Meadows - Skardu

  Early morning trek back to Tatto village and transfer to the jeep for Raikot bridge, arrive and transfer to the air conditioned van/car for Skardu, arrive and transfer to the hotel for overnight.
• Day 6 : Explore Around

  Departure for Shigar Valley - gateway to the great mountain peaks of the Karakorams, i.e Gasherbrum Peak and K-2. Visit of 400 years old Wooden Mosque, Shigar Fort, Saad Para ,evening back to the hotel for overnight at Skardu.
• Day 7 : Skardu - Kapullu Village

  Departure for Khaplu Valley, the scenic valley of the Shyok River located 103 km from Skardu. Many famous mountains such as Masherbrum, Saltoro. Sia Kangri, K-6, K- 7 is located here.
• Day 8 : Kapullu - Gilgit

  Departure for Gilgit (height 1,454m) along with Indus River. The little town has spectacular scenic beauty. Short stay en-route at Kachura Lake. Arrival and transfer to hotel. By evening, visit of the city. overnight at Gilgit.
• Day 9 : Gilgit - Besham

  Departure for Besham - gateway to K.K.H, the old silk route. Sightseeing en-route. overnight at Besham. Or departure to the airport and destination.
• Day 10 : Besham - Islamabad

  Early morning we will drive to Islamabad, en-route we will visit the Taxila Museum. Construction of Taxila museum started in 1918, its foundation stone laid by Lord Chemsford, vicery of India in 1918. Construction was concluded in 1928 and the museum was opened for public by Sir Habibullah then the ministry for Education. Sir John Marshall who was going to be retired from the post of Director General of Archaeological survey of India in 1928, could not complete its original plan. The government of Pakistan constructed the northern gallery in 1998. There are 4000 objects displayed, including stone, stucco, terracotta, silver, gold, iron and semiprecious stones. Mainly the display consists of objects from the period 600 B.C to 500 AD. Buddhist, hindu and Jain cults are well represented through these objects discovered from three ancient cities and more than two dozen buddhist stupas and monasteries and Greek temples. Taxila Museum is located 35 km from Islamabad on the Grand Trunk Road to Peshawar. It is famous for remains of Gandhara art. Most of the sites at Taxila, dating back 600 BCE to 500 CE, are located around the Taxila Museum. We will reach in Islamabad about 2:00pm, evening to visit Faisal Mosque and Margala Hills to see the view of Islamabad. Departure for the airport at 8:00pm and fly to destination.
