Shimshal Pass Trek is a long-duration trekking holiday in our challenging treks category in the Shimshal Valley of the Hunza region. It is a holiday in one of the isolated valleys for trekkers offered by Apricot Tours. Given below are the details of this holiday.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Pakistan Arrival

  Meet the guide at Islamabad International Airport & drive to the hotel.
  If time allows us we will visit Islamabad & Rawalpindi.
  Dinner & night stay.

  • Themes Sightseeing
• Day 2 : Islamabad to Shimshal/ Gilgit/ Naran

  Breakfast & drive to the airport.
  Fly to Gilgit & drive to Shimshal valley.
  Arrive at Shimshal valley for dinner & night's stay.
  Flight is subject to weather if the flight is canceled we will drive to Gilgit by road.

• Day 3 : Gilgit to Shimshal

  Breakfast & drive to Shimshal valley.
  Lunch en route.
  Arrive at Shimshal Valley for dinner & night's stay.

  • Themes Sightseeing
• Day 4 : Rest Day at Shimshal

  If our flight is not canceled then we will trek to our 1st camp. If the flight is canceled and we drive by road then we will rest in Shimshal valley.
  Walk around for acclimatization.
  Dinner & night stay.

• Day 5 : Shimshal to Gharsar

  Breakfast & today we start our trek towards Shimshal Pass.
  Lunch at Korband.
  Arrive at Gharsar and rest for dinner & night stay.

  • Themes Adventure, Trekking
• Day 6 : Gharsar to Peryan Sar

  Breakfast & today we will enjoy the real taste of the Shimshal Pass trek.
  Will stop for lunch at Vuch Furzin. After lunch the final trek of 3 hrs to Peryan Sar.
  Arrive at Peryan sar for dinner & night stay with some breathtaking views

  • Themes Adventure, Trekking
• Day 7 : Peryan sar to Shimshal Pass 4735m

  Breakfast & trek to Shimshal Pass.
  Lunch en route.
  Arrive at Shimshal Pass for dinner & night stay.

  • Themes Trekking
• Day 8 : Rest & Minglik high Camp.

  Breakfast & will rest till 3:00 pm. Will have our dinner in the base camp & trek to Minglik Peak High camp.
  Arrive at high camp after 2hrs. Will have a light dinner & sleep early.

  • Themes Trekking
• Day 9 : Summit & trek back to Base Camp

  Wake up at 2:00 am and will have some porridge & corn Flex breakfast.
  Start climbing and will hopefully summit at 9 in the morning.
  Trek back to base camp summit celebrations
  Dinner & night stay.
  The Summit is subject to weather conditions.

• Day 10 : Shimshal Pass to Peryan Sar

  Breakfast & trek back to Peryan sar.
  Lunch en route.
  Arrive at Peryan sar dinner & night stay

• Day 11 : Peryan sar to Gharsar

  Breakfast & trek back to Gharsar.
  Lunch at Past Furzin.
  Arrive at Gharsar for dinner & night's stay.

• Day 12 : Gharsar to Gilgit

  Gharsar to Gilgit
  Breakfast & trek back to Shimshal Valley.
  Lunch & drive to Gilgit.
  Arrive at Gilgit for dinner & night's stay.

  • Themes Trekking, Sightseeing
• Day 13 : Gilgit to Islamabad

  Breakfast & drive back to Islamabad. Or fly to Islamabad
  Lunch en route.
  Arrive at Islamabad for dinner & night stay.

• Day 14 : Fly back

  Drop at the airport as per flight time.
  fly to home destination.

• Entry fee: To be charged on actual rates wherever applicable. All Camping fees.
• Our Team: Comprised of experienced professional staff
• Porterage: Porters are to carry all equipment like tents chairs tables, food & Mess tents.
• Luggage: 12.5kg of luggage allowed for participants extra will be charged.
• Safety: Harness & Rope for Climbing Minglik sar Peak.
• Cook: Professional cook throughout the trek to cook hygienic & fresh food.
• Climbers: 2 climbers to help on Minglik Peak Climbing

Exclusions

•  Below mentioned services are not included in our price, but some of them and also a few others like DJ, Doctor Rescue Team, etc. can be arranged at your request.
•  Personal trekking equipment/clothing.
•  Extras at hotels meals during traveling.
•  Room Service and additional ancillary services were acquired from the hotel.
•  Personal insurance of clients.
•  Accommodation & food in Islamabad.
•  Any personal medication
•  Evacuation and rescue charges if any.
•  Domestic Air tickets are not included.
•  Any expense due to forced measures, natural calamities, acts of God, or forced Majeure: is beyond the control of RVT, their staff, and suppliers.
