Package Overview

The East - sweet and romantic trip is a road trip followed by a show transfer through the Pangalanes channel. We will show you the lush vegetation, home of endemic fauna including lemurs and birds, and rare flora among which rare medicinal plants and orchids. This is a trip ideal for nature lovers and it is the closest place to observe and listen the voice of the Indri Indri.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 :

  ARRIVAL - ANTANANARIVO
  Arrival in Antananarivo from abroad. Meeting and greeting, then transfer to your hotel. Bed and breakfast accommodation basis at the hotel.

• Day 2 :

  ANTANANARIVO 鈥� ANDASIBE
  After breakfast, drive eastward to Andasibe through the typical landscape of the highland and the eastern rainforest. On the way, stop at the Peyreiras reptiles farm for observing different endemic species of chameleons, lizards, geckoes, frogs. Arrival in Andasibe by the end of the morning. In the afternoon, visit of the VOIMMA reserve. Evening walk for spotting nocturnal species as the mouse lemurs, chameleons, frogs鈥�...
  Bed and breakfast accommodation at the hotel for 02 nights.

• Day 3 :

  ANDASIBE: ANALAMAZAOTRA RESERVE
  Breakfast at the hotel, then morning walk within the Analamazoatra reserve for spotting the largest lemurs of Madagascar Indri Indri, which is the largest living lemur. Other lemur species might be spotted during the walk including the grey bamboo lemur, the common brown lemur as well as different endemic species of birds. Back to the hotel after the visit. In the afternoon, visit of Mitsinjo. If time allows, visit of Vakona private reserve including its small island for lemurs.

• Day 4 :

  ANDASIBE - MANAMBATO - AKANIN鈥橬Y NOFY
  Breakfast at the hotel. Then continuation of the drive eastward to Manambato through the eastern rainforest with a landscape dominated by the Traveler palm or 鈥淩avinala鈥�. Arrival at Manambato. Boat transfer to Akanin鈥檔yNofy. Upon arrival, installation at the hotel. Bed and Breakfast accommodation basis for 02nights.

• Day 5 :

  AKANIN鈥橬Y NOFY
  Day free at leisure. Possibility of visiting the Palmarium reserve or visiting the local villages. In the evening, nocturnal visit to discover the smallest lemurs of Madagascar: AYE AYE.
• Day 6 :

  AKANIN鈥橬Y NOFY - TAMATAVE
  Breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure. In the beginning of the afternoon, boat transfer to Tamatave through the Pangalanes channel. Arrival at the fluvial port, meet and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, city tour of the town. Bed and Breakfast accommodation basis at the hotel.

  TAMATAVE 鈥� ANTANANARIVO (Possibility to do an extension to Sainte Marie Island)
