Package Overview

Dudhsagar is one of the India鈥檚 5th tallest waterfalls having the height of 310 m (1017聽feet) and an average width of 30 meters (100聽feet). Dudhsagar literally means 鈥渟ea of milk鈥�, in reference to the milky white water of the Mandovi River that falls steeply over the cliff, and then travels west to meet the Arabian Sea near Panaji. As the water comes roaring down the cliff, it creates an illusion of a sea of milk falling from the top, which gives the waterfall its name. After the waterfall we will drive towards the spice plantation followed by Goan buffet lunch.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Day Itinerary

  Dudhsagar waterfall- Post Breakfast drive to Dudhsagar waterfall the most impressive waterfall of Goa lies on its eastern border with Karnataka. Measuring a mighty 310m from the head to foot it鈥檚 a sight to admire. After pouring across the Deccan plateau, the headwaters of the Mandovi river form a foaming torrent that fans into three steam, then cascades down a near 鈥� vertical cliff face into a deep green pool. Water plummets hundred feet in large volume, forming one of the most spectacular of all natural phenomena in Goa.
  
  The day starts with a drive across the vibrant state of Goa, passing through small villages, past bright paddy field and swaying palms. Drive on to collem to board the safari van/ safari jeep to take you to the waterfalls. A short wall in the forest leads you to the base of the falls. You could swim in the cool clean water of the pond and under the cascading falls. Lie down and share the shade of trees and see the native monkeys prancing around.
  
  Spice plantation- Visit Spice Plantation followed by Goan lunch (Veg and Non-Veg) with a guide for a tour of organically grown spices. The spices grown here are Vanilla, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Cardamom, pepper, cloves, chilly curry leaves and ginger. Besides this, they also have medicinal plants and fruit-bearing trees. After returning from your spice tour, you can also purchase the spices, cashew nuts and mementoes, all produced at the farm itself.
