Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Ancestral Goa & Big Foot, Shree. Shantadurga Temple, and Spice Plantation

  Ancestral Goa & Big Foot- Spread over nine acres of land, Ancestral Goa, also known as "Bigfoot," is a first of its kind theme park and outdoor museum in India. It showcases a variety of artefacts that depict the journey and hardships in the past of rural Goa. From Anandachem Ghor (House of Happiness) to see the saltpans & coastal treasure, Ancestral Goa is a sojourn that will take you back in time. It has the honour of housing the largest laterite sculpture of Mirabai, the devotional poet and saint and also, the Big Foot Cross Museum that has on display thousands of crosses from all over the world. Ancestral Goa enlightens you about the fact that there is much more to Goa than just parties and beaches, Goa is a land of many mysteries and a multitude of colour. Have fun exploring!
  Shantadurga Temple – Shantadurga temple has an impressive idol of Goddess Shree Durga who mediated between Shree Vishnu and Shree Shiva and stopped the fearful war going on between the two. Vishnu and Shiva flank her on both sides. This avatar of Shree Jagdamba Devi, which had come to make peace [Shanti] between Shree Vishnu and Shree Shiva, came to be known as Shree Shantadurga Devi.
  The original place of Shree Shantadurga devi was at Keloshi. From there Devi was shifted to Kavlem during the rule of the Portuguese government. This current temple structure of Shree Shantadurga Devi was built during the period from 1713 a.d to 1738 a.d. Many renovations have been done over the years to the main temple and to the temples of other deities
  Spice plantation- Visit Spice Plantation followed by Goan lunch (Veg and Non-Veg) with a guide for a tour of organically grown spices. The spices grown here are Vanilla, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Cardamom, pepper, cloves, chilly curry leaves and ginger. Besides this, they also have medicinal plants and fruit-bearing trees. After returning from your spice tour, you can also purchase the spices, cashew nuts and mementoes, all produced at the farm itself.
