Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival New Jalpaiguri Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB), Transfer to Darjeeling

  Meet and greet upon arrival at NJP/IXB for your Darjeeling Package Tour, followed by a transfer to Darjeeling (by Hill Cart Road), one of the world's most beautiful hill resorts. This hill queen is yours to explore in the evening. Visit the Darjeeling Mall, have a cup of steaming coffee, and relax in the cool weather. At Darjeeling, spend the night in a hotel.

• Day 2 : Darjeeling Sightseeing Tour

  Early in the morning, at 4 a.m., visit Tiger Hill, which is famous for its dawn views of Mt. Kanchendzonga, and then return to the hotel via Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, and the Batasia Loop. After breakfast, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and PNZ Zoological Park (both closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Self Help Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outside view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, and Ropeway (all closed on Thursday) (operational, ropeway ride charges to be paid by guest directly). In Darjeeling, spend the night in a hotel.

• Day 3 : Darjeeling to Mirik and Back (60 kms in 2.5 hrs One Way)

  After breakfast, we will drive you to Mirik, a little charming hill station at 5100 feet (1761 metres) with a magnificent lake encircled on all sides by forested hills and Mt Kanchenjunga in the background. The road to Mirik passes through some beautiful tea gardens and pine trees (Sourenee Rea Estate). At the lake, take a horseback ride and go boating (boating payment direct). Return to Darjeeling through PASHUPATI MARKET on the Nepal-India border (need extra vehicle to enter into the market, direct payment). In the afternoon, return to the hotel and enjoy a free evening. At Darjeeling, have dinner and spend the night in a hotel.

• Day 4 : Darjeeling to Jalpaiguri Rail Station / Bagdogra Airport

  Packing and personal activities can be done in the morning. After breakfast, transfer to NJP Station or IXB Airport for your onward journey. The tour comes to a close with fond recollections.
