鈥� Gangotri Gangotri is one of the origin sources of Holy River Ganga (Ganges), and one of the important Char Dham pilgrimage in Hindu Religion. The main origin of the river is 鈥淕aumukh鈥� which is a glacier located 19 km away from gangotri temple. Ganga river is the longest and most sacred river in world. Gangotri is located at an altitude of 3100 meters above sea level, on the banks of Bhagirathi river. Gangotri is the starting point of Ganga river where the goddess Ganga workshipped by the Pilgrims or Devotees. In Ancient time the river is called Bhagirathi and attains the name Ganga from Devprayag onwards where Bhagirathi meets with Alaknanda form Ganga River. Gangotri is the home place of many ashrams, small shrines and temple. Yamunotri Yamunotri is the original source of Yamuna River surrounded by lofty peaks forest and large valley. Yamuna is the second largest and one one holiest river in India after Ganga. It is part of the four holy abodes in Chardham pilgrimage yatra. Pilgrims also get to enjoy a number of hot water springs in the vicinity of the temple. Yamunotri is located at an altitude of 3293 metres above sea level, in the Garhwal Himalaya about 40 km away from Barkot in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The actual source of Yamuna River lies in the Yamunotri Glacier at a height 6,387 metres near Bandarpunch Peaks in Lower Himalayas Badrinath Badrinath is one of the most popular religious towns of the Hindus located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand in India. Badrinath is the most important of all the four (Char) Dhams in India. The town of Badrinath lies between Nar and Naryana mountain ranges and in the shadow of the mighty Nilkantha peak, 301 km north of Rishikesh. The town is located at an elevation of 3,133mts above sea level on the left bank of Alakananda River. Kedarnath Kedarnath is a holy Hindu town located in Uttarakhand in India. It is one of the Char Dhams located in the Himalayas at a height of 3584m above sea level near the head of Mandakini River. It is a very popular destination for all Hindu pilgrims of all over the world. The Kedarnath temple lies amidst the majestic snow-capped Himalayan ranges and is thronged by thousands of tourists each year. The extreme weather condition of Kedarnath prompts the temple to remain open from the end of April to the beginning of November. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Kedar or Lord Shiva. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Haridwar - Barkot

  On arrival at Haridwar railway station, we will pick you and transfers to hotel for freshen up. Later we drive to Barkot via Mussoorie. On arrive check-in at the Camp. Night stay in Barkot.
  
  Barkot is an ideal destination to stay for pilgrims of Shri Yamunotri, It is situated 45 Kms before Yamunotri temple, an altitude of 4000 feet from the Sea level, from where paranomic view of the Bandarpunch Peak can be seen.

  Early morning after breakfast, drive to Janki chatti, start trek to Yamunotri 6 kms. You have an option to either walk or hire Pony or by Doli at your own cost.
