Varanasi or Benaras or Kashi with these three names is among the oldest living cities in the World. City is situated in the confluence of two tributaries River of Ganges - Varuna and assi, that/’s why know as Varanasi and in local language people called it Banaras. Kashi, literally meaning is luminous - (light of learning). Varanasi is known the religious and cultural capital of India and one of the holiest cities among the seven cities of India. Kashi is the tirtha supreme. Famous products of the city include shawls, sarees, gold - embroidered cloth, hand - hammered brassware, and heavy gold and silver jewellery. Varanasi is especially known for its fine silk fabric. River Ganges or Ganga is the soul of the city and most famous fire ceremony (Ganga Aarti) happen every day on the bank of the River. The five famous bathing Ghats of Varanasi namely Assi, Dasawamedha, Barnasangam, Panchganga, and Manikarnika. Other attractions are - Gyanvyapi Masjid with 71minarets, Golden Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Bharat Mata temple, the Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Vinayaka Temple, Annapurna Temple, Kal Bhairav, Jateshwar Mahadeo, and Maha Mritunjaya Temple.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Varanasi Welcome

  Arrive at Varanasi Airport/Railway station, later drive to hotel, later proceed for the city sightseeing like tulsi manas temple, Sankat Mochan temple and new Vishwanath temple. Evening witness the Ganga Aarti(fire ceremony) at Dasaswamedh Ghat and overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 2 : Varanasi – Sarnath – Varanasi

  Early morning before Sun rise – boat ride and visit 84 ghats of city and witness the spectacular view of Sun rise from Ganges, if someone like can also perform rituals dedicate to ancestors, later walk through narrow lane and visit Kashi Vishwanath temple (also known Golden temple) and Annapurna Temple back to hotel, enjoy your break-fast and later drive to Sarnath(the place of first sermon of Lord Buddha), drive back to hotel, evening is free for the self activities.

• Day 3 : Varanasi – Gaya

  After break-fast, drive to Gaya by surface, stop for lunch enroute, on arrival, check in hotel, after refreshment start your sightseeing like mahabodhi temple and other Buddhist palaces, overnight stay in bhodhgaya hotel.
• Day 4 : Gaya –Bhodhgaya – Varanasi

  Early Morning, drive to phalguni river to perform Pooja in Vishnupad temple(the most famous place to perform ancestors rituals like PindaDan and Tarpan), later drive back to Varanasi, overnight stay in hotel.
• Day 5 : Varanasi – Vindhyachal - Allahabad

  After Break-fast, drive to Allahabad via Vindhyachal, One of the most famous temple of Goddess Durga (Mahishasur mardani -Shaktipeetham), on arrival at Allahabad, check in hotel, later visit confluence(Sangam)of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati(which is invisible form), take a Holy deep and visit Allahabad Fort and Vat-vriksha(banyan Tree), lete Hanuman temple, Aalopi Devi Temple, back to hotel and overnight stay.
• Day 6 : Allahabad – Lucknow

  After break- fast drive to Lucknow, check in to hotel, later city sight seen as per the time permit. Overnight stay.
• Day 7 : Lucknow – Ayodhya – Lucknow

  After break- fast drive to Ayodhya, one of the holiest city of Hindus and Jain communities – the birth place of Lord Rama and Rishabhanath(adi nath of jain), on arrival visit Janambhumi of lord Rama, Lakshman Ghat, Kala Ram Temple, Kanak Bhavan Temple and several Jain shrines etc., later drive to Lucknow, Overnight stay.
  
  After breakfast, proceed to Naimisaranya. The Mahabhrata was composed by Vedavyas in this forest. A dip in the river Gomati at this spot is considered to be very sacred ritual. Later return to Lucknow and drop at Lucknow for onwards journey.
  
  Note: Here we have option to drive to Allahabad to Lucknow and stay and next day visit Ayodhya on same day.
