Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Delhi to Pangot

    We will meet and drive to Pangot. On the way there, we ascend into the Kumaon Hills over one of the most breathtaking mountain roads in the world. a guided afternoon birding excursion close to the property.

    The Blue Whistling Thrush, Red-billed Blue Magpie, Blue-capped Redstart, Rusty-tailed Flycatcher, Grey-backed Shrike, Yellow-breasted Green Finch, and other birds can be spotted along the journey. Accommodation & meals included.

  • Day 2 : Pangot Exploration

    Birding in Pangot throughout the entire day with your guide.

    Observable species include woodpeckers such as the Brown-fronted, Stripe-breasted, Rufous-bellied, and Cheer, Koklas, and Khalij as well as the Crested Serpent-eagle and Mountain Hawk-eagle. Thrushes like the mistle and dark-throated. The tiered fields contain Prinia that is striated. Tickell's Leaf-warbler, Greenish, Golden-spectacled, and Grey-hooded warblers, among others.

    Flycatchers include the Blue-capped Redstart, the Orange-flanked Bush Robin, and the Asian Brown, Rusty Tailed, Ultramarine, and Verditer. White-throated, Striated & Streaked, Chestnut-crowned, and other laughing thrush species. Keep an eye out for Accentor, Upland Pipit, Blue Winged Minla, Whiskered Yuhina, and other birds.   • Day 3 : Pangot to Sat Tal

    We will drive to Sat tal and continue our journey of birding with exquisite species such as Red-billed Leothrix, Siberian Rubythroat, White-crested Laughing Thrush, Rufous-gorgeted Flycatcher, Rock Bunting, etc.

    Look for species like the Golden Bush Robin, Rufous-chinned & White Crested Laughing Thrush, Greater Yellow-naped Flameback, Rufous-breasted Accentor, and more. You can alter this trip to suit your needs.

  • Day 4 : Sat Tal to Jogeshwar

    A beautiful drive in the morning to Jogeshwar and along the way we can see several species such as Little Forktail, Khalij Pheasant, Himalayan Barbet, Steppe Eagle, many Raptors, etc. can be seen on the drive. This location is one of the most popular places for birding. One will get to enjoy the sightings of countless bird species.

    Bird species: Besra, Himalayan Griffon, Kestrel, Wedge-tailed Green Pigeon, Slaty-headed Parakeet, Oriental Cuckoo, Asian-barred Owlet, Great Barbet, Grey-headed Woodpecker, Brown-fronted Woodpecker, Rufous-bellied Woodpecker, Himalayan Woodpecker, Ashy Drongo, Bar-winged Flycatcher Shrike, Common Myna, Eurasian Jay, Black-headed Jay, Red-billed Blue Magpie, Grey Treepie, Large-billed Crow, Long-tailed Minivet, Scaly-breasted Munia, Yellow-breasted Green Finch, Crested Bunting, Black Bulbul, Himalayan Bulbul, Black-chinned, Babbler, White-browed Shrike Babbler, Green Shrike Babbler, Rufous Sibia, Streaked Laughing Thrush, Dark-sided Flycatcher, Ultramarine Flycatcher, Little Pied Flycatcher, Grey-headed Canary Flycatcher, Verditer Flycatcher, Grey-hooded Warbler, Greenish Warbler, Ashy-throated Warbler, Grey Bushchat, Chestnut-bellied Rock Thrush, Blue Whistling Thrush, Plain-backed Mountain Thrush, Great Tit, Black-lored Tit, Green Backed Tit, Spot-winged Tit, Black-throated Tit, Bar-tailed Tree creeper , White-tailed Nuthatch, Grey Wagtail, Russet Sparrow, House Sparrow etc.

  • Day 5 : Jageshwar Exploration

    Early morning visit to the Jageshwar Temple for puja on this day. Then you can proceed to Vriddhya Jageshwar or the Dandeshwar Temple. Drive to Patal Bhuvneshwar cave (105 km; 3.5 hours) after receiving darshan, then return to Jageshwar. The evening is free to take in the quaint hamlet's splendour amid the pine forests. Spend a lovely day at leisure to take in the clean atmosphere. Later, you'll have the chance to see a peek of the locals' customs, culture, way of life, and architecture by visiting local Kumaoni villages.

  • Day 6 : Jageshwar to Munsiyari

    We will take a 7-hour drive to Munsyari and stopping along the way to do bird watching. One can spot Pallas's Fish Eagle, Grey-headed & Lesser Fish Eagle, White Capped Water Redstart, and more. Additional birds include the Barn Swallow, Himalayan Swiftlet, Stork-billed Kingfisher, Scaly-bellied Woodpecker, and Red-breasted Parakeet.

  • Day 7 : Munsiyari

    Spend three days exploring in Munsyari. Explore the surrounding areas; Gori River, Balanti Farms, Alpine Meadows, Kala Muni, and Maheshwari Kund. Speckled Wood Pigeon, Spotted Forktail, Himalayan Griffon, Streak-throated and Rufous-bellied Woodpecker, Grey Wagtail, Rufous-gorgeted and Ultramarine Flycatcher, White-collared Blackbird, Variegated and Streaked Laughing Thrush, Oriental and Large-hawk Cuckoo, Brown Dipper, Grandala, Himalayan Snowcock, etc. are among the birds that can be seen.

  • Day 8 : Munsiyari to Vijaypur

    Drive early in the morning to Vijaypur, pausing en route to look at the dense oak woodland immediately after Chaukhori. Water birds like River Lapwings, Waders, Mergansers, and other Waterfowl may be found in the Ramganga River near Nachani, making it a very rewarding place to go birding.

    We will make stops at alpine meadows en route to Chaukhori to search for birds including the Indian Cuckoo, Grey Winged Blackbird, Upland Pipit, and Eurasian Jay. Chestnut Grove overnight stay.

  • Day 9 : Vijaypur to Someshwar

    Drive to Someshwar from Vijaypur, stopping along the way to go bird watching in Kausani. Bird species such as Raptors (Steppe Eagle, Lesser Kestral, Black Eagle, Rufous Bellied Eagle, Besra, Himalayan Griffon, etc) can be found in Someshwar.

  • Day 10 : Someshwar to Corbett National Park

    Early in the morning, take a 5-hour drive to Corbett National Park, stopping along the way to go birdwatching in Kumeria. Corbett Tiger Reserve boasts an amazing variety of avifauna. Some of the uncommon birds that may be found in Corbett National Park include the Great Hornbill, Pallas's Fish Eagle, Grey-headed and Lesser Fish Eagles, Red-collared Falconet, and others. Other birds include Himalayan Swiftlet, Tawny Fish Owl, Scaly-bellied Woodpecker, Red-breasted Parakeet, Stork-billed & Crested Kingfisher, etc. The best place to start for birding is Tiger Camp.

  • Day 11 : Corbett National Park

    We will explore this vast treasure of nature鈥檚 beauty and enjoy the sightings of rare bird species and if lucky, glorifying tigers as well.

    Black Bulbul, Brown-eared Bulbul, Brown Fish Owl, Little & Spotted Forktail, Yellow-bellied and White-browed Fantail, Crested Laughing Thrush, Black-winged Cuckoo Shrike, Little Heron, Wallcreeper, Red-breasted Parakeet, Short-billed and Long-tailed Minivet, Brown Dipper, Ashy-crowned Sparrow Lark, etc. are common bird sightings.

  • Day 12 : Corbett National Park to Delhi

    The Asian Barred Owlet, Plumbeous Redstart, Indian Pitta, Spangled Drongo, Yellow-wattled Lapwing, Lineated and Blue-throated Barbet, Oriental Pied and Grey Hornbill, Rufous and Grey Treepie, among other species, will be among the forest's many birds you search for. Crested Tree Swift, Blue Bearded Bee-eater, and other species are also potential inhabitants of the woodland. We will return to Delhi by car ride.
