Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati Arrival - Nameri

  Your beautiful Tawang journey will start at the Guwahati airport/Railway station where our executive will pick you up. We will start our journey towards Nameri National park which is 330km away from Guwahati. We will stay at Nameri for the night.

• Day 2 : Nameri - Dirang via Bhalukpong

  We will start our journey from nameri in the morning. We will head towards Dirang via Bhalukpong through the Himalayan Mountains. You will get the opportunity to witness the beautiful green valleys of the Himalayan land. We will reach dirang in the evening. Overnight stay will be at Dirang.

• Day 3 : Dirang - Sela Pass - Tawang

  We will head towards Tawang via the beautiful snow covered Sela pass. We will stop at Sela pass for some time. Next stoppage will be Jung water falls. We will reach Tawang in the evening. Overnight stay will be at Tawang.

• Day 4 : Tawang Local Tour - War Memorial Show

  We will go for local sightseeing in Tawang. We will visit War memorial, Giant buddha statue, Tawang Monastery, Gompa etc. In the evening we will witness the light show at the War memorial. Overnight stay will be at Tawang.

• Day 5 : Tawang

  We will visit Indo China border, the Bumla pass which is situated at 4633 meter above from the sea level. You can witness snowfall for the whole day, after that we will visit PTSO lake and Madhuri lake which is named after beautiful Bollywood actress Madhuridixit. We will back to Tawang and overnight stay will be at Tawang .

• Day 6 : Tawang - Bomdila

  Our return journey will begin from Tawang towards Bomdila. We will be visiting the Bomdila monastery and will do some local sightseeing at bomdila .Bomdila is famous for 1962 Indo China war. Overnight stay will be at Bomdila.

• Day 7 : Bomdila - Kaziranga

  A beautiful morning sunrise will be waiting for you at the mountain cliff. So our day begin from Bomdila at the morning. and we will go the world heritage site Kaziranga which is situated in Assam. We will reach Kaziranga by the evening through the lush green valleys of the east. We will take rest for some time and we will go to watch the beautiful cultural evening at the orchid bio diversity park. Overnight stay will be at Kaziranga.

• Day 8 : Kaziranga National Park

  Our day will begin early in the morning we will go for elephant safari in the western range of Kaziranga National Park. Safari will be for 2 hours after that we will have our breakfast and will visit orchid garden and will do Jeep safari in the evening. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

• Day 9 : Kaziranga - Shillong

  We will start our journey from Kaziranga to Shillong We will directly take you the the Scottland of East Meghalaya. We will drive through the green hills of the land. We will stop at Umiam lake for a tea break where we will do some water sports activities in the lake. Finally, we will reach Shillong the rock capital. Overnight stay at Shillong.

• Day 10 : Shillong - Cherrapunjee

  We will start our journey early in the morning, we will head towards Cherrapunjee the wettest land on the earth. We will be visiting Nohkalikai falls, Elephant falls, Mawsmai cave, Seven sisters falls, Eco park. The best part of the day will be the sunset in the hills you will get the opportunity to have your evening tea at the mountain top with a view of Sunset. Overnight stay will be at cherrapunjee.

• Day 11 : CHERRAPUNJEE - MWALLYNONG – DAWKI - SHILLONG

  After breakfast drive to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia, also known as ‘God’s own Garden’. With over 80 households, the village gives the ambiance of walking in a well maintained park ! Climb the 80 ft Sky Walk at Mawlynnong village for a bird’s eye view of the Village, the plantations and faraway plains of Bangladesh. You will also be acquainted with the Khasi lifestyle, their culture and economy.
  
  A trek to the nearby Rewai Village is another interesting activity. Walk down a flight of almost 100 steps to witness nature’s wonder, living-root bridge. The bridges are tangles of massive thick roots, which the local people intertwined to form a bridge that can hold several people at a time. The root bridges, may be up to over a hundred feet long, take ten to fifteen years to become fully functional, but they become very strong in the process. The bridges live and keep growing and strengthen over time. The useful lifespan of the bridges, is thought to be 500–600 years.
  
  Later drive to Dawki, a village of the Jaintia community whose prime occupation of fishing. Be mesmerized by the beauty of the Umngot river, the venue of the annual boat race held during March - April at Umsyiem. The Umngot itself is a prime fishing spot for fishermen of the villages. The river is also famous for its crystal clear water, so clear that when seen from a distance, it appears as if the boat is floating in mid-air! The Umngot River is the natural boundary between RiPnar or Jaintia Hills with HimaKhyrim of Khasi hills over which is a single span suspension bridge was constructed. This is the gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place. Enjoy an amazing country boat river ride. Drive up to the Bangladesh border.
  Later proceed to Shillong for overnight stay.
  
  Note: It is advisable to carry packed lunch to Mawlynnong.

• Day 12 : SHILLONG - GUWAHATI

  After breakfast check out and drive to Guwahati Visit Maa Kamakhya temple. later visit rope way, Nabagraha Temple, state museum. Evening River cruise (On direct payment basis) over mighty Brahmaputra. Overnight stay at Guwahati.
  
  NOTE: River cruise depends on water level & availability.
