Discover Albania from Corfu, 7 days tour is a combination of a classic tour of Albania with the easy and affordable flights through the island of Corfu. It also gives you the chance to explore the island of Corfu and its Old fortress which is also an UNESCO World Heritage site.
After spending a couple of days in the island of Corfu and an easy 45 minutes sail to the Albanian harbor of Saranda, you can explore Albania in an 8 days tour which will take you to more than 17 destinations in Albania.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 :

  Our representative will meet you at Saranda harbor, at 9:00am which is the arrival time of the first ferry from Corfu.
  Our first visit in Albania will be at Butrinti Archaeological park which is an UNESCO World heritage site. Butrinti, which started as Greek colony in the VII century bc, is one the best archaeological sites in Albania (check detailed program) In the second part of the day we drive to Gjirokastra. On the way we will visit the Blue Eye water springs park. In the afternoon we will check in our traditional hotel in Gjirokastra.
• Day 2 :

  After breakfast we will explore Gjirokastra UNESCO World heritage town. Our visit in Gjirokastra will include the XIV century fortress and the old stone-made town.(check detailed program)
  In the second part of the day we will drive towards Berat we will make a pleasant stop (check the detailed program). In the afternoon we will check in our accommodation in Berat.
• Day 3 :

  In the first part of the day we will explore Berat UNESCO World heritage town. Our tour will include the old part downtown and the IV century bs fortress located on the hill overlooking the town.(check detailed program)
  In the second part of the day we will drive towards Tirana. On the way we will visit the XIV century fortress of Elbasan. In the afternoon we will check in our hotel located near the center of Tirana.
• Day 4 :

  After breakfast we will start our walking tour of Tirana exploring the capital of Albania. Our visit wil start from the XVIII century Ethem Bej Mosque and the center of the town. (check detailed program).
  In the second part of the day we drive to the historical town of Kruja located north of Tirana. Our visit will include the XV century Othoman fortress and the XVIII century old bazaar. (check detailed program).
  In the afternoon we will drive north to the town of Shkodra where we will check in our hotel in the afternoon.
• Day 5 :

  During the first part of the day we will explore the IV century bc fortress of Shkodra.(check detailed program) In the second part of the day we will drive towards Durres by the Adriatik sea. Durres started as a Greek colony in the VII century bc and became one the biggest towns in the Mediteranean sea. We will visit the Archaeological Museum and after a visit in the Roman Amphitheater (II century AD) we will check in our hotel near the sea in Durres.
• Day 6 :

  After breakfast we will drive to the monastery of Ardenica which is located on a hill overlooking the Myzeqea field. Inside the monastery we will visit the XIII century Christian Orthodox church which is covered with frescoes and has an impressive wooden carved altar.
  Next we will drive to Apollonia Archaeological park which started as Greek colony in the VII century bc and is now one of the biggest archaeological sites in Albania. In the afternoon we will check in our hotel in the town of Vlora.
• Day 7 :

  Today we will drive through the Albanian Ionian Riviera after crossing Llogara National park at 1.000 meters over the Acroceraun mountains. After a photo opportunity stop we continue through the Himara region.(check detailed program).In the afternoon you will take the ferry to Corfu.
