Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut

  After breakfast in your Hotel, you will drive to Marangu gate.
  
  On arrival finalize the climb formalities including registrations and with your professional mountain guide, porters and cook start the climb up to Mandara hut for meals and overnight stay.
  
  Starting Point: Marangu Gate (1,860 meters)
  Destination: Mandara Hut (2,700 meters)
  Hiking Time: 4-5 hours
  Distance: 8 km
  Highlights: Walk through lush rainforest, spot Colobus monkeys and various bird species.

• Day 2 : Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut

  After breakfast at Mandara hut continue with the climb up to Horombo hut for meals and overnight stay.
  
  Starting Point: Mandara Hut (2,700 meters)
  Destination: Horombo Hut (3,700 meters)
  Hiking Time: 6-8 hours
  Distance: 12 km
  Highlights: Transition from rainforest to moorland, with views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.

• Day 3 : Acclimatization Day at Horombo Hut

  Day 3 offers an essential opportunity for trekking and acclimatization at the Horombo hut, allowing trekkers to adjust to the altitude while enjoying the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
  
  with side trekking via Zebra Rocks to Mawenzi Saddle with meals and an overnight stay at Horombo
  
  Activity: Acclimatization hike to Zebra Rocks (4,020 meters) and back to Horombo Hut.
  Hiking Time: 2-3 hours
  Distance: 5 km
  Highlights: Helps with acclimatization, and stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

• Day 4 : Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut

  On Day 4, the trek continues from the lush surroundings of Horombo Hut to the stark and awe-inspiring Kibo Hut, where the landscape transforms dramatically as you ascend towards the majestic peak of Kilimanjaro, witnessing the gradual shift in vegetation and climate, and preparing for the final challenging leg of your adventure.
  
  Starting Point: Horombo Hut (3,700 meters)
  Destination: Kibo Hut (4,700 meters)
  Hiking Time: 6-8 hours
  Distance: 10 km
  Highlights: Trek through the alpine desert, crossing the saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo.

• Day 5 : Kibo Hut to Summit to Horombo Hut

  After a thrilling night, you鈥檒l lace up your boots and embark on the final push to the summit at 5895m alongside your friendly mountain guides. Once you reach Uhuru Peak, take some awesome photos to remember the moment before you head back down to Kibo Hut at 4700m for a well-deserved breakfast. Then, continue your descent to Horombo Hut at 3700m, where you can enjoy some good food and relax for the night.

  Summit: Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters)
  Descent: Back to Horombo Hut (3,700 meters)
  Hiking Time: 10-14 hours
  Distance: 22 km (ascent and descent)
  Highlights: Summit attempt, breathtaking sunrise at the peak, and a challenging descent.

• Day 6 : Horombo hut to Marangu gate

  Where you will celebrate your incredible achievement with victory certificates for conquering the majestic summit of Uhuru Peak the highest point in Africa and after this unforgettable experience you will embark on a scenic drive back to Arusha as you prepare for your next adventure

  Distance: 20 km
  Highlights: Final descent through the rainforest, certificate collection at the gate.
