The two major Himalayan ranges surround this heavenly landscape, the Great Himalayan Range from the north and the Pir Panchal Ranges from the south. These are the source of many rivers which flow down into the forested valleys of Orchard and are decorated beautifully by lily-laden lakes. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Srinagar Airport and聽transfer to聽Srinagar

  Our services start with your arrival at Srinagar airport. Meet & greet and transfer drive towards Srinagar. On the banks of the Jhelum River, amid the blotches of colourful flowers, you can find Srinagar, the summer capital of Kashmir. Dry fruits, Kashmiri handicrafts, shikaras and wooden mosques
  are a few things that make Srinagar nothing less than a paradise. The vast stretch of the Himalayas prettifies Srinagar even more. The area is home to expansive biodiversity. Head for a city sightseeing tour. After freshening up get ready for a shikara ride in the famous dal lake. Later visit The Shankar Acharya Temple and the Grand Mughal Gardens - Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, Pari Mahal and Chashme Shahi - are the major tourist attractions in Srinagar. These tourist attractions are covered in this Kashmir family package. After the tour, you will be taken back to the hotel in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay

• Day 2 : Srinagar - Gulmarg

  Head on to spend a leisure day in Gulmarg with your family. Wake up to a beautiful day in the hotel and then enjoy a hearty breakfast. After relaxing for a while, check out of the hotel and head towards Gulmarg. Gulmarg literally means "Meadow of Flowers", and this town stands up to its name. It is perched at an altitude of 2730 meters. CNN regarded Gulmarg as 鈥淗eartland of Winter Sports of India鈥� and rated it as Asia鈥檚 Seventh Best Ski Destination.
  
  Whether in summers or winters, the town is a year-round magnet for tourists around the world. Several movies have been shot in this beautiful town, like Jab Tak Hain Jaan, Bobby, Highway, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and Haider, among others. Here you can enjoy a ropeway ride to Khilanmarg or a pony ride. The Gulmarg Gondola is the highest and longest cable car ropeway of Asia and one of the best experiences in Kashmir. This cable car ride is
  divided into 2 stages and takes you to and from Kongdoori Mountain, which is close to Apharwat Peak. The views from the top are stunning. There are various other adventure activities awaiting you, like rock climbing, skiing and trekking. In your sightseeing, you can also cover the places like Gulmarg Golf Course, St Mary鈥檚 Church, & Mohinishwar Shivalaya Shiv Mandir Children鈥檚 park. In the evening return back to Srinagar Dinner and overnight stay. Evening returns back to Srinagar for Dinner and overnight stay at Srinagar.

• Day 3 : Gulmarg sightseeing

  After the breakfast get ready for the full day sightseeing. Here you can enjoy a ropeway ride to Khilanmarg or a pony ride.
  The Gulmarg Gondola is the highest and longest cable car ropeway of Asia and one of the best experiences in Kashmir.
  This cable car ride is divided into 2 stages and takes you to and from Kongdoori Mountain, which is close to Apharwat Peak. The views from the top are stunning. There are various other adventure activities awaiting you, like rock climbing,
  skiing, Snowmobile ride, ATV ride, and trekking. In the evening return back to Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay

• Day 4 : Gulmarg - Sonmarg

  A warm cup of tea with delicious breakfast should get you ready for the day of activity. Leave from your hotel refreshed and satiated with your breakfast and move towards Sonmarg. Visit Thajwas glacier. You will have to use ponies to reach the glacier. You can visit the places like Zero Point where snow remains you can also visit zojila pass(also called the entrance of Ladakh). Zojila Pass has always been on the priority list of travellers throughout the year. In the evening get back to your pre-booked hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

• Day 5 : Mansarovar

  After breakfast in the morning we will go on a day trip to Manasbal lake. Located in the Jhelum valley, north of Srinagar, the name Manasbal is said to be a derivative of Lake Mansarovar in Tibet. Encircled by three villages, the lake has a depth of (13 m / 43 ft) and also has a Mughal garden laid by Nur-Jehan by its side. We will drive the 30 kilometre stretch in a little over 02 hrs via Ganderbal and Shadipur. Nearby the lake one can also view the Baladar mountains to the east as well as an ancient temple recently unearthed during the lake restoration works. The temple is dated to 800-900 AD and is believed to have been built either by Raja Avantivarman or Sankaravarman. We will explore all this and later drive back to Srinagar.

• Day 6 : Doodhpathri

  After breakfast transfer to Doodhpathri the most attractive tourist place for its large green meadows and river (doodh Ganga).Alpine valley covered with snow clad mountains and the meadows of pine fir and Deodae. The Natural meadows ,which are covered with snow in winter, allow the growth of wild flowers such as daisies forget-me-nots and butter cups during spring and summer. You can also spend some quality time on the banksof river Doodhganga . In evening return back to Srinagar for overnight stay.

• Day 7 : Yusmarg

  After a hearty breakfast in the morning we will board our vehicle and drive through the Historic Lal Chowk towards the bye pass. We will crossover the byepass road and begin an exciting two hours journey to a place relatively unknown for the outside world. The Drive to Yusmarg takes you across grasy meadows, ringed by forests of pine, and towering beyond them, the awesome and majestic snow clad mountains. On your arrival in Yusmarg you can take all kind of walks across the rolling meadows which sometimes resemble its twin resort of Gulmarg. You can also stroll along the flower strewn meadows towards the mighty river froths of the Doodh Ganga. Yusmarg is ringed by several notable peaks incluing Tata-Kuti and Sang Safed. About 3 kilometers below Yusmarg a historical and religious place will be visited where stands the tomb of Sheikh Nu-Ud-Din who is still revered by both muslims and Hindus from time bygone. We will drive back to Srinagar in the evening and transfer to the hotel / houseboats for our overnight
  stay.

• Day 8 : Pahalgam Baisaran valley

  The eighth day of the Kashmir family holiday package begins with a delicious breakfast in the hotel. Check-out and proceed for a road trip to Pahalgam (valley of shepherds')'. Via Pampore remains famous as the breadbasket of Kashmir. En route, you can stop by the Martand Sun Temple. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder river flowing from the opposite direction. There are many beautiful places to see and interesting things to do in Pahalgam. If you are in Pahalgam and have not visited the Baisaran valley famously called Mini Switzerland then you have seen nothing. A word of caution though, you will have to use ponies to ride to Baisaran valley as no vehicle is allowed to go there.. If you have a taste for adventure rides then a visit to Pahalgam club, Children鈥� Park and Zoo is a must. Enjoy your evening on the bank of river Lidder and calm your nerves with the soothing sound of flowing water. Retire back to your hotel for dinner and night stay.

• Day 9 : Aru valley, chandanwari

  Wake up to beautiful day in the hotel and then enjoy a hearty breakfast. After relaxing for a while, get ready to visit Aru valley, chandanwari and Betaab valley (OWN). In evening return back to Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 10 : Departure
