Sethan village, height 2600 meters above sea level, is located 15km from Manali, People of this village belong to Buddhist community known as khampa tribes. This sparsely populated village is surrounded by pine trees. Through this village you can go to Hamta pass trek.
Sethan has idyllic slopes for Skiing, Snow Boarding and Hikes/ Treks starting from Manali to Base of DeoTibba.
One can witness sheep grazing meadows Gujars with their cattles visit these plains which is famous for their milk and cheese.
Due to the heightened visit to Sethan by tourists in the winters and summers for various activities like trekking, hiking, skiing etc., We have started 魅影直播 Stay Options for travellers who enjoy closer to nature holidays away from the hustle of city life.
Interesting places to visit are Panduropa rice fields, according to legend, When the Pandvas were exiled from their kingdom they reached the Himalayas and started rice cultivation during that time.

Best Season
Winter : Mostly dry. Freeze-thaw conditions. (December to March )Autumn (Sept to mid Nov) and Summer (Mid April to June) are the best seasons for Hamta Trek and camping experience. The weather is sunny and warm, with outstanding views .Temperature can fall in night up to 15C in summer and 10C in autumn .
Winter Manali remains extremely cold in the winter months. Temperature often drops to -2掳C during the season, from November till March. Besides, a moderate level of rainfall may force you to change your plans to visit outdoors. However, the average high increases as the season progresses, as February, the last month of the season, gets more than 12掳C of average high temperature

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Manali

  After breakfast proceed for full day local sightseeing of Manali like Hadimba Temple, Tibetan Monastery, Lord Buddha and Tankha paintings, Vashisht Temple for "Hot & Cold water Kund鈥�, Club House. The evening is free leisure & you can move around to the Mall Road for shopping. When ever reach at Hotel take your dinner at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Manali

• Day 2 : Manali - Sethan (12 Kms trek) via Chhalet & Hampta villages Duration:聽4 hours

  Pick from Hotel drive towards Prini Left bank side. 20minutes drive The steepest part of the trail takes about 2 hours to negotiate. It passes through apple orchards and forests of blue pine, cedar, oak, fir and chestnut. The villages that the trail passes through 鈥� Chhalet, Hampta and Ghoratbari 鈥� have an interesting legend. They lie on the way to heaven and when people die, their souls have to pass these villages. It is said that people here hear sounds of crying if the soul is condemned to hell and sounds of a trumpet if it is ascending to heaven. Sethan villages to reach the camp (3000 m). Overnight in tents.
• Day 3 : Sethan to Jobri 3 hours easy ascent 9700 ft to 10,400 ft

  The trek passes through some spectacular landscape to just below the Hamta Pass, on a grassy bank sloping down from the cliffs. The impressive grandeur of immediate surroundings, the nearness of the Tokru-Shakru peaks, the wonderful coloring of the rocks and mountainside, all make this one of the best campsite on the route. one can see the pine, birch, golden oak trees and horse shoe nut trees. Visit Pandu ka ropa ,it is believed that during the exile five brothers Pandvas use to grow peddy in Pandu ka ropa. Overnight camp
• Day 4 : Departure

  Departure after break fast from Jobri to Manali. Adventure activity optional. (Rohtang pass, Paragliding, snow activities (skiing 鈥搒now boarding, slider, snow scooter, ATV bike rider. On your cost.
  Evening departure to Delhi by A/C Volvo bus. 4: 30 PM
