Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati - Manas

  Upon arrival you will be received and taken to the hotel. Transfer to Manas National Park.
  Manas National Park is situated on the foothills of the Himalayas and a part of it extends to Bhutan. It was declared a sanctuary on October 01, 1928 and was designated a World Heritage site in December 1985. The sanctuary is home to a great variety of wildlife, including tiger, Golden Langur, Wild Buffalo, Hispid Hare, Pigmy Hog, Capped Langur, Indian one-horned Rhinoceros, Elephant, Gaur, Hog Deer, etc.
  
  Manas known for its Project Tigers, Rhinos & Elephants, and is Assam's one of the two Tiger projects. The scenic beauty and rare wealth of wild life combine with this unique world heritage site to offer one of the most enthralling experiences.
  Evening you are free for leisure.
  Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 2 : Manas National Park

  Early morning we take you for an elephant Safari. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are wild boar, hog deer, swamp deer, wild buffalo, elephants and if you are lucky then tiger also. Return to the resort for breakfast. After breakfast we take you to the India Bhutan border. Picnic by the riverside. After lunch jeep safari through the National Park.
  Evening will be at leisure.

• Day 3 : Manas - Nameri

  This morning transfer to Nameri.
  Situated in the District of Sonitpur, the Nameri is the third National Park of Assam. The Pakhui (Pakke) Sanctuary of Arunachal Pradesh adjoins the Park on its North-Eastern point. The area is criss-crossed by the river Jia- Bhoroli and its tributaries namely the Diji, Dinai, Doigurung, Nameri, Dikorai, Kharietc. A few jheels (during the rainy seasons) also dot the area. The Jia – Bhoroli river and the tributaries display devilish look when the incessant downpour in the upper reaches during the rainy season make it swell. The in-accessibility and continuity with neibouring forest areas has helped the wildlife of Nameri to flourish. There is a good prey –base in the form of –Sambar,Barking deer, Hog Deer, Wild Boar and gauri. About 3000 domestic cattle also form part of this prey base for Tiger and Leopards.
  Evening take a Nature walk to the river and back.

• Day 4 : Nameri - Kaziranga National Park

  After breakfast go for river rafting on Jia Bhorolee river.
  Afternoon transfer to Kaziranga National Park.
  Transfer to Kaziranga National Park.
  Kaziranga National Park lies partly in Golaghat District and partly in Nagaon District of Assam. It is the oldest park in assam covers an area of 430 Sq kms along the river Brahmaputra on the North and the Karbi Anglong hills on the South. The National Highway 37 passes through the park area and tea estates, hemmed by table-top tea bushes. One can even see the rhinos and wild elephants straying near the highway.
  Kaziranga National Park a world heritage site is famous for the Great Indian one horned rhinoceros, the landscape of Kaziranga is of sheer forest, tall elephant grass, rugged reeds, marshes & shallow pools. It has been declared as National Park in 1974.
  Evening free for leisure.

  • Themes River Rafting
• Day 5 : Kaziranga National Park

  Early morning explore Western Zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of elephant. Apart from world's endangered One-horned Rhinoceros, the Park sustains half the world's population of genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, over 1000 Wild elephants and perhaps the densest population of Royal Bengal Tigers anywhere. Kaziranga is also a bird watcher's paradise and home to some 500 species of birds. The Crested Serpent Eagle, Palla's Fishing Eagle, Greyheaded Fishing Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Bar-headed goose, whistling Teal, Bengal Florican, Storks, Herons and Pelicans are some of the species found here. We will return to the resort for breakfast. Afternoon we have arranged a jeep safari through the Central Zone of the National Park. Evening come back to the hotel.

• Day 6 : Kaziranga National Park – Guwahati Airport

  After breakfast transfer to Guwahati. En-route visit Kamakhya temple ((If time permits). Arrive at Guwahati airport in time to catch your onward flight.
