Package Overview

The tour departs at 7:30am from your Cape Town city hotel and heads up the West Coast for just over an hour before we reach Buffelsfontein Private Game Reserve.
You will be welcomed with a cup of coffee or tea and at 9am you'll be transported in an open top game viewing vehicle for a 3 hour long professionally guided tour. After the mini safari you leave the friendly animals behind and go to a nearby olive farm and enjoy a delicious 30 minute tasting experience.

Not far from the olive farm lies the quaint village Darling, where we will visit a micro brewery for a taste of some of their 18 craft beers and indulge in a lovely lunch overlooking the working brewery. For those with a sweet tooth we will stop off at Darling Sweets and sample some of their homemade toffees.

After lunch and toffees you'll head for the Darling hills and visit Groote Post Wine Estate to sample some of their 13 wine varieties on offer. The winery is situated in a lovely green valley threaded by the Klawer River, a stream really, with Kikuyu lawns bordering on the werf, all watched over by the beautifully restored Cape Dutch Klawer Valley homestead and the imposing slave bell (depicted on the Groote Post wine labels).

After this informative tasting session, we travel back to Cape Town via Bloubergstrand to admire the most spectacular view over the ocean towards Table Mountain, after which you will be dropped off at your hotel.
