Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin - Thekkady (195Kms/6hrs)

  On arrival you will be greeted by our representative and drive to Thekkady,
  Thekkady in India鈥檚 largest wildlife sanctuary is a dream destination for any tourist visiting India. The 120 years old 'Surki' dam built across Peryiar, Poorna in Vedic parlance, is a major tourist attraction. This sanctuary is spread over an area of 777 Sq. Kms, surrounded by an artificial lake over an area of 25 Sq.Kms. The Country's sole Tiger reserve, Thekkady, with its bountiful treasures of tropical flora and fauna is the ultimate reservoir of many an endangered species and a rich tribal culture. Thekkady is a pleasant heaven on earth for those who love nature in its wild manifestations.
  After a panoramic journey through the tea & spice plantations reach there by afternoon. Arrive and transfer to the hotel Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
• Day 2 : Thekkady

  Morning after breakfast process for a game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc evening you can go for an Elephant ride near Periyar wild life sanctuary and rest of the day is at leisure and Overnight stay at Thekkady.
• Day 3 : Thekkady - Alleppey (155Kms/4.5 hrs)

  Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Alleppey.
  Alleppey or Alappuzha is the Venice of the East; It is famous for its boat races, backwater holidays, beaches, marine products and coir industry. Alappuzha beach is a popular picnic spot. The pier, which extends into the sea here, is over 137 years old. Entertainment facilities at the Vijaya Beach Park add to the attraction of the beach. There is also an old lighthouse nearby which is greatly fascinating to visitors.
  After arrival check in your resort; and rest of the day at leisure in the resort. Overnight stay at Hotel.
• Day 4 : Alleppey

  After breakfast, check out the resort and go for a village tour till noon to the nearest places and paddy fields, visit some of the temples also. By 12-noon board your houseboat to explore the beauty of backwaters on board. Overnight stay at Houseboat.
  
• Day 5 : Alleppey - Cochin (64 Kms/2hrs)

  After breakfast, check out the houseboat & Proceed to Cochin International Airport/ Railway station.
