Ghangaria
Ghangaria, a mystical realm at the confluence of rivers Pushpawati and Lakshman Ganga, is the last human settlement in the captivating Ghangaria valley.
It serves as a base camp for the enchanting Valley of Flowers and the awe-inspiring Hemkund Sahib. Begin your trek after breakfast from Pulna, embarking on a 9 KMS journey through a mesmerizing landscape. Witness numerous unnamed waterfalls, serene lakes, and encounter wildlife along the route, immersing yourself in the heart of nature's
splendor.
Trek to Valley of Flowers and back.

Valley Of Flowers
Experience the enchanting Valley Of Flowers National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and forms one of the two core zones (the other being the Nanda Devi National Park) of the Nanda Devi Biosphere reserve. Best time to visit is between July - August.
Spanning 87 sq KMS, this enchanting sanctuary is a floral paradise boasting over 600 species, including orchids, poppies, primulas, marigolds, daisies, and anemones. Immerse yourself in sub-alpine forests of birch and rhododendrons, accompanied by cascading waterfalls and streams. The valley is also home to rare wildlife such as the snow
leopard, Himalayan Monal, gray langur, flying squirrel, Himalayan weasel, black bear, red fox, and lime butterfly.
Wake up early, grab some breakfast and a hot beverage before you begin your trek.
Traverse the park's picturesque trails. Bridges, glaciers, and waterfalls punctuate the journey, offering a breathtaking backdrop for your exploration. Every few steps reveal a new variety of flowers, their kaleidoscope of colors captivating your gaze. You can't help but wonder who meticulously arranged this living tapestry and what mysterious forces shaped it's ever-changing variety.
There is a stream too that flows all the way through the valley. Take off your shoes and dip your feet into it before bidding farewell to this mesmerizing realm and descending
back to Ghangaria. Have dinner early and sleep.
Trek to Hemkund Sahib and back.

Hemkund Sahib
Hemkund Sahib is a revered Sikh pilgrimage site in Uttarakhand, India. Dedicated to Guru Gobind Singh, it sits at 4329 mts (14,203 ft) altitude, near a glacial lake named Hemkund. The shrine attracts numerous pilgrims and offers stunning views. The best time to visit is between June and October.
Wake up, get yourself some breakfast and a hot beverage. A poncho (light raincoat) and a trekking pole can be quite useful on the trek.
Pass the deviation to the Valley of Flowers and spot the misty waterfall on the right, one might even feel a spray of water being carried by the wind as the waterfall breaks on the rocks below.
After a few hours of walking, the tree line disappears, and the views improve. Come across a melting glacier along the way. Take generous breaks to acclimatize to the reduced oxygen levels, stay hydrated and avoid sitting down during these breaks. Continue to ascend to reach Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara and the ethereal Hemkund Lake that slumbers under a frozen embrace for half a year. Walk around the lake, immerse yourself in the serenity of the crystal- clear waters reflecting the surrounding mountains. The harmonious convergence of nature and spirituality is captivating!
Enjoy hot tea and delicious khichdi at the Gurudwara and explore the area. The Himalayan flower, Brahma Kamal, thrives in the area as it only grows at heights of 10,000 ft to 15,000 ft. The descent back to Ghangaria takes about 4-5 hours and can be challenging on the knees and toes. Have an early dinner and rest.

After breakfast embark on a serene journey from Ghangaria Village to Pulna. The 6-hour trek, including breaks, down the alternately sunny and shaded trail let's you escape and unwind. Let nature's symphony relax you as you immerse yourself in this enchanting experience, feeling refreshed and rejuvinated upon arrival at Pulna.
Freshen up and have a balanced meal for lunch at Govindghat after the short drive from Pulna. Rest and reflect on this incredible journey that you've just had. Share your experiences with your teammates over some hot tea. Have dinner early and sleep.
Departure after breakfast, drive back to
Rishikesh via Badrinath.

In the mystical town of Badrinath, Uttarakhand, India, stands the Badrinath Temple. Perched at 3,100 meters above sea level on the banks of the Alakananda River, between Nar and Narayana mountain range, it is a sacred Hindu sanctuary dedicated to Lord Vishnu, worshipped as Badrinath. Established by sage Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century, it holds the revered Saligram idol of Lord Badri. Surrounded by mythical tales, it is one of Uttarakhand's four important pilgrimages known as Chardham (Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri being the other three). Here, Lord Vishnu performed penance, oblivious to the harsh weather conditions, leaving an indelible spiritual aura for seekers of divine solace.
Drive back to Rishikesh after visiting the temple.
