Valley of Flowers is Part of Nanda Devi Bio-sphere Reserve and a Unesco World Heritage Site. the Valley Lies Between the Transition Zone of Zanskar Ranges and Greater Himalayas of the Western Himalayas in the State of Uttrakhand. It Was Named Valley of Flowers By Sir Frank Symthe a British Mountaineer Who Lost His Way While Coming Back from His Successful Summit of Mt. Kamet in 1930’s and Ended Up in the Valley. the Place is Mystical with Many Mythological Stories Associated with It, It also Forms Part of Famous Sikh Pilgrimage of Shrihemkund Sahib.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Haridwar – Govindghat

  We Assemble At Haridwar Railway Station Where Our Transport Will Be Waiting for Us, Today is Aalong Drive and Can Take upto 10 Hours. One the Way We Will Be Passing all the Confluences of Alakhnanda River Right from Devprayag Till Vishuprayag After Joshimath, We Reach Govindghat By Evening, Check Into the Hotel. Evening is to Relax. Please Note Dinner is Not Included in the Package.

  • Hotspots Devprayag
• Day 2 : Govindgaht – Ghangaria

  After Breakfast We Start Our Trek Towards Valley of Flowers. We Cross the Bridge Over Alakhnanda River.
  
  we have An Option of Taking a Sharing Cab Till Pulna Village Which Saves 4 Kms of Trek. the Trail Starts After Pulna and is Well Laid and Maintained Path.
  
  after Every 2 Km There are Refreshment Stall Where One Can have Tea or Eat Anything They Feel Like, the Trail is a Combination of Steep, Gradual and Descends Till Bhyundar Village After Which We Cross the Bhyundar Ganga and a Steady Steep Climb Through Oak, Pin, Fir and Maple Forest Takes Us to Ghangaria.

• Day 3 : Ghangaria – Valley of Flowers – Ghangaria

  The Gates of Valley Open to Trekkers At 7 am in the Morning We have An Early Breakfast and Head Towards the Valley, the Trail is Well Laid Stone Path and Takes Us Through Thick Pine Forest, One Can Start Spotting Flowers from Here Only However the Valley is Still 4 Km from Here.
  
  we Cross the Pushpawati River and Walk Along the Valley On the Left Hand Side, After Ascending for 3 Km Through Thick Silver Birch Forest We Come Above the Tree Line the Next 1 Km is Level Walk and After Crossing a Foot Bridge We Enter the Valley.
  
  a Fragrant and Vibrant Valley with Numerous Flowers Awaits, Most Common of all are Potnetilla, Geranium, Sulcata& Himalayan Snow Fleece.
  
  the Valley Extends for Another 10 Km’s from Here However We Venture Another 1 Km to Reach Margerettelegge’s Grave a Botanist Who Lost Her Life in Valley in the 1930’s and Return Back the Same Route to Ghangaria. After Dinner Overnight At Ghangaria

• Day 4 : Ghangaria – ShriHemkund Sahib – Ghangaria

  After breakfast we start for a steep and winding climb towards the pristine Hemkund Lake and Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara, at 14,200 Feet the Hemkund Lake is peaceful and calm places with Gurbaani flowing from the speakers add to the serenity of the place. We spend some time at the lake and descend towards Ghangaria. The views are amazing as you get a bird’s eye view of Ghangaria Village far below at the bottom of the Valley. After Dinner, Overnight in Ghangaria

• Day 5 : Ghangaria – Govindghat

  We Start Early, After Breakfast We Begin Our Descend Towards Govindghat, the Trail We Take is the Same that We Took to Come Up, It Takes Around 4 to 5 Hours On An Average to Reach Govindghat. After Reaching You have An Option of Planning a Round Trip to Badrinath Temple Which is Subjected to Road Conditions.(not Part of the Package). Overnight in Govindghat Hotel (dinner and Breakfast are Not Included Here)
• Day 6 : Drive back to Haridwar

  Early Morning We Drive Back Rishikesh/haridwar. Lunch Enroute. Arrive Rishikesh/haridwar By Evening. Trek Ends with a Mosaic of Colourful Memories
