Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival- Jammu聽

  1345 hours - Arrival at Jammu Airport
  1400 hours - Departure for Katra
  1530 hours - Arrival at HOTEL MAA GAYATRI INDIA KATRA.

• Day 2 : After morning breakfast proceed to helipad katra.

  0700hours - Departure for Katra Helipad
  0730 hours - Flight from Katra to Sanjichhat / Onward for Darshan
  1635 hours - Flight back from Sanjichhat to Katra
  1715 hours - Back to hotel / Overnight at hotel.

• Day 3 : Katra to Dharamshala.

  After breakfast, Drive to MACLEODGANJ (DHRAMSHALA) (150kms). On arrival Check in hotel - later in afternoon visit Tibetan curio shops & Buddha temple - Monastery & Handicraft Center. Also visit BHAGSUNATH temple. Overnight stay at hotel in Mcleodganj.

• Day 4 : Chamunda Devi - Kangra Ji - Jawala Ji聽

  After breakfast visit CHAMUNDA DEVI , also known as Chamundi and Charchika, is a fearsome aspect of Devi, the Divine Mother and one of the seven Matrikas (mother goddesses). The name is a combination of Chanda and Munda, two monsters whom Chamunda killed. Here Lord shiva is present in the form of death, destruction & dead bodies along with Devi Chamunda. In the temple the devotees can see scenes from the Devi Mahatmya, Ramayan and Mahabharata. On either side of the Devi's image is Hanuman and Bhairo. Then visit BRAJESHWAR temples in KANGRA This temple is dedicated to Sui Mata, the local princess of Chamba who sacrifice her life for the people of her kingdom.Colourful paintings on the temple wall depicts the story of SuiMata. The style which makes the temple different from others is the shikara style and in top there is a wooden amalaka. After Darshans proceed to JAWALAMUKHI (55kms). Check in hotel and after lunch visit JAWALAJI temple also called the "Flaming Goddess" or "She of the flaming mouth".It lies in the valley of Beas and is built over some natural jets of combustible gas believed to be a manifestation of the goddess Devi Bhagwati Jawalamukhi. A legend avers that the flames proceed from the mouth of demon Jalandhara, the Daitya King whom Shiva over-whelmed with mountains. Overnight in hotel at JAWALAMUKHI.聽

• Day 5 : Chintpurni Ji-Dharamshala聽

  After breakfast drive to CHINTPURNI JI temple, Mata Chintpurni Devi is also known as Mata Shri Chhinnamastika Devi. Devotees have been visiting this Shaktipeeth for centuries to pray at the lotus feet of Mata Shri Chhinnamastika Devi- drive to Dharamshala.聽

  Early morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed for Dalhousie, a famous Hill Resort in Himachal Pradesh (220 Kms from Katra) which spreads over five low-level hills at the western edge of the Dhauladhar range, just east of the Ravi River. This place is situated at 6000-9000 feet above sea level. Check into the hotel. Local sightseeing at Dalhousie like Jandhrighat Palace, Subhash Bowli, Bara Pathar, Panjphulla, Subhash Chownk, GPO Dalhousie, Satdhara and the last but not least old Churches of Dalhousie. Overnight stay at Dalhousie聽

• Day 6 : Khajjiar聽

  After breakfast, proceed for Khajjiar which is a vast emerald green meadow with thick forested slopes of deodars. This place is also known as Gulmarg of Himachel Pradesh & mini Switzerland of India. It is 23 Kms from Dalhousie by road and 13 Kms from Kalatop. Khajjiar is a forest glade of great beauty, 6400 feet above sea level". You may enjoy paragliding here during peak tourist season. Back to Dalhousie in the evening. Overnight stay at Dalhousie.聽

• Day 7 : Dalhousie - Jammu

  After breakfast, visit local market of Dalhousie. In the afternoon, check out from the hotel & proceed for Pathankot/Chakki Bank to drop at Railway Station for return journey. In case of departure from Jammu, proceed for Jammu in the early morning and drop at jammu Airport.聽
