This trek routes covers one of the best trekking trail of Sikkim. It starts from Uttarey and ascends towards Chiwa Bhanjyang on the border of Sikkim-Nepal. The terrain along the route is barren, criss-crossing, steep, rugged grassy meadows sometimes forming flat plains. The travelers also come across High altitude lake formations of turquoise green water which is often believed to be sacred. At places, the trail passes through the auspicious Rhododendron forest bearing multiple colors. The route covers Silver Fir forest and Alpine forest.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bagdoghra - Pelling

  Pick up from Bagdoghra and drive to Pelling the city of Falls (O/N Pelling).
  You can spend the delightful evening surround by the serene natural beauty. Overnight stay
• Day 2 : Chiwa Bhanjyang

  Today you will trek to Chiwa Bhanjyang (10,400 ft) for about 6 hours. Overnight stay
• Day 3 : Dhor

  After breakfast star the trek to Dhor (12,200 ft) for 8 hours. Overnight stay
• Day 4 : Sikkim - Megu

  Trek for 7 hours to reach Sikkim - Megu (13,600 ft). Overnight stay in Camp
• Day 5 : Dafey Bhir

  Trek for 8 hours to reach Dafey Bhir (14,286 ft). Overnight stay in Camp
• Day 6 : Gomathang

  Trek 4 hours to reach Gomathang (12,200 ft). Overnight stay in Camp
• Day 7 : Pangden

  On trekking 7 hours you reach Pangden (13,900 ft). Overnight stay

  Trek 4 hours to reach Dzongri (4,030 Sq.m). Overnight stay in Camp
• Day 9 : Thangsing

  ThangsingToday you will trek to Thangsing. Overnight stay
• Day 10 : Simiti Lake

  Trek to Simiti Lake. Overnight stay
• Day 11 : Goeche La - Thangsing

  Trek to Goeche La and back to the base camp in Thangsing. Overnight stay
• Day 12 : Tsoka

  Trek to Tsoka. Overnight stay
• Day 13 : Yuksom

  Trek for 6-7 hours to reach Yuksom. Overnight stay
• Day 14 : Bagdoghra (Departure)

  Drive to Bagdoghra airport
