Day 1 : Tehran
We kindly congratulate you upon your delicate choice! Right on your arrival, we will pick you up at Tehran International Airport and transfer you to your hotel. Prior to anything, you will be given the itinerary of the tour in a Welcome Meeting at 9:00 AM after your check-in. In case of unavailability of a flight that arrives on time, you may wish to arrive a day earlier so you can follow the plan. We will be happy to announce that one of our many services is to book an additional accommodation for you (subject to availability).

Once you have arrived in Tehran, you will be transferred to your hotel by our transfer service who is a local driver. It has to be mentioned that he may not be fluent in English as the tourism industry in Iran is still developing.
Day 2 : Old Sites of Tehran
On the second day, we will explore a full-day visit to the old parts of the capital city, Tehran. The tour starts by walking through Toopkhaneh Square that has several attractions in its vicinity. National Museum of Iran and The Portal of Bagh Melli are on your way.
After appreciating these places, it is high time visiting Abgineh Museum in which a nice collection of Qajar era related glass and ceramics are gathered and put on display. In the middle of your adventurous tour in Tehran, you will enjoy a meal at a local restaurant while listening to a striking traditional music.
After lunch, you will visit Golestan Palace which is one of the most magnificent royal palaces of Qajar dynasty remained in Tehran. The Grand Bazaar that has always been fascinating to walk in is our next destination.

Day 3 : Spending Leisure Time in Tehran
As we are having an exciting and compact adventure ahead, we have provided one resting day in our schedule for your better convenience. It is totally up to you whether to spend time touring around the city and discovering its many sites or stay in your room resting and refreshing.

Day 4 : Tehran - Khoramabad
Distance from Tehran to Khoramabad: 486 Km (6 h)

On the fourth day, we will head for Khoramabad city. Arriving there, you can enjoy exploring Falak ol-Aflak Castle from the Sasanid era which is a cultural symbol of the city. It is now transformed into an impressive museum representing the tradition and history of Khoramabad. You can also have a sip of Persian tea in its traditional tea house. There is an ancient stone reservoir called Gerdab-e Sangi in a close proximity to this breathtaking castle. You will get to know this amazing reservoir that is also listed on National Heritage Sites of Iran.

Day 5 : Remains of the Elam Kingdom in Shush
Distance from Khoramabad to Shush: 213 Km (2 h 36 min)
Distance from Shush to Shushtar: 84 Km (1 h 18 min)

Our next destination would be Shush in Khuzestan city. Being a 3500-year-old capital city of Elam pre-Iranian civilization, Shush is one of the most ancient counties of Iran. Therefore, you should be prepared enough to confront many historical and precious remains. Consequently, you will have an opportunity to get familiar with the greatest town in old Persia.
Apadana Palace and Shush Castle are the two old monuments of Shush that we will stop to pay a careful scrutiny to every detail of it. The admirable ruins of Apadana Palace after all these long years and after all the brutal wars it has undergone are still worth visiting. Furthermore, Shush Castle, which was built it 1897 by a French archeologist called Jacques Jean Marie de Morgan, is an eye-catching monument too.
When the lunch is served, Haft Tepe Museum will be waiting to amaze us. There are old clay containers, statues, coffins, inscriptions, and many other interesting pieces of stuff are on exhibition. This museum is on the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Our next destination will be the royal tomb of Tepti-Ahar with all its dead bodies turned to a skeleton and the priceless jewelry. The brick structure of Ziggurat Temple in Choqa Zanbil is the best-preserved and largest example of Elamite architecture anywhere. Elamite people had built this temple to worship their Gods in. After our adventurous discovery, we will head for Shushtar and transfer to the hotel to stay.

Day 6 : Discovering Shushtar

Day sixth of our journey starts in Shushtar. This city alone includes 13 sites that are registered in the World Heritage Sites list. This huge capability is actually wonderful for a small town like Shushtar in which Urbanism and civilization date back to almost 10.000 years ago.
We will begin by visiting Shushtar Historical Hydraulic System that dates back to Sasanid era. As a result, this structure is about 2500 years old. It is a collection of bridges, wells, canals, waterfalls, and tunnels of the old times. This system used to come really efficient in the water distribution system.
Other places that we will explore are Sikas Water Mills, Shadorvan Bridge Dam, Dariun Canal, Salasel Castle, Band-e Mizan Weir, the great view of the octagonal Kolah Farangi Tower and Marashi Historical House. They all have a story behind that are definitely worth listening to.
Our last but not least plan in Shushtar is to walk around the historical texture of the town. After fully enjoying the city, it is time to discover Ahvaz. We will head for Ahvaz via a stop at Mola Sani trying the delicious taste of water buffalo ice cream.

Day 7 : Susangerd - Ahvaz
Distance from Ahvaz to Susangerd: 67 Km (70 min. approx.)
Total Road Transfer: 2 hrs.
Plus an approximately 1-hour walking
After spending a night in Ahvaz, we will get up early and head for Susangerd to spend half a day outside Ahvaz. We will be visiting the sound dunes of Om Al-Debes (which means 鈥淭he mother of Date Syrup鈥). The wilderness of Om Al-Debes is located between north of Karkheh River and southern parts of Mish-Dagh Mountains. Additionally, on the eastern parts, you can reach Iraq-Iran borders. This is where Iranian soldiers used to defend the borders.
Bushy vegetation is one of the tempting attractions of this area. Furthermore, it is a natural habitat of gazelles. In this habitat, other animals including fox, jackal, wolf, and hog live as well.
There we will enjoy the delicious taste of authentic Arabic coffee in a Mozif which is an arched shaped structure made entirely out of sedge sticks. We will get familiar with the Iranian Arabic lifestyle. The stunning point of visiting Susangerd with us is the companion of a local guide. So that we will get totally familiar with the true nature of it.
After that, we will travel back to Ahvaz and you can explore the city on your own or rest for the excitement ahead.

Day 8 : Ahvaz - Shahrekord
Distance from Ahvaz to Izeh: 182 Km (2/5 hours approx.)
Distance from Izeh to Shahrekord: 266 Km (4/5 hours approx.)

Today we will head for Izeh to explore the historical site of Tagh-e Tavileh. This cultural and natural site encompasses Ashcroft Salman cave, Koul Farah, and Khoung Azhdar dating back to 1300 to 700 years ago. We will explore the wonders of it. In Iranian paintings, this is the first time that women have been painted together with men. There are drawings of sacrifices and worshipers on the rocks.
Carvings on the walls of the cave give the next generations a great amount of knowledge about the rich culture of trust. In the carved rocks, the queen is as tall as the king and is by his side. This reveals that ladies had an influential political role and were equal to men. This is a valuable historical document indicating the claim that in Iran women had a great position as men. The eye-catching view of the green and fertile plain of Izeh with two wonderful ponds are magnificent.
After visiting Izeh, we will travel to Shahrekord for the overnight stay.

Day 9 : Shahrekord - Isfahan
Distance from Sharekord to Isfahan: 102 Km (1/5 hours approx.)

We will depart Shahrekord and embark on a local bus ride to one of Iran highlights, Isfahan. While en route to Isfahan, we will visit Zaman Khan Bridge via a stop. This has been constructed on the Zayandehrud River at the 29-kilometer distance on the northeast of Shahrekord. One of the tribal chieftains 鈥淶aman Khan鈥 built this bridge. They have repaired it two times so far.
Then we will head for Isfahan. Isfahan is simply one of the finest places in the Islamic world, and a visit here will leave you breathless. A 16th-century rhyme called it 'half the world' and, after spending a few days here, you might agree. There is an abundance of fine Islamic buildings, most of which are covered with the blue mosaic tiles Iran is famous for.
Upon arrival in Isfahan, we will visit the splendid Chehel Sotoun and Hasht Behesht Palace. During the evening, we will take a stroll along the river of Zayanderud to visit Si-o-Seh Pol and Khaju Bridge. On several of the bridges, local people gather to talk, drink tea and sing beautiful folk songs. This is a magical place and one of the most atmospheric places in Iran.

Day 10 : Isfahan
Approximately 4 hours walking
On the tenth day, we will explore the splendid monuments of Isfahan.
Today you have a full-day tour in Isfahan. Your guide will give you an insight into life under Persia greatest ruler, Shah Abbas, with the city reaching its peak and becoming the capital of Persia during his 16th-century reign. Even though the capital was moved to Shiraz and then Tehran, the city still retains much of its past glory.
You will start the tour at the immense Imam Square (formerly Naqsh-e Jahan Square), which covers an area of 82,500 square meters and makes it one of the largest squares in the world. The square is surrounded by many grand buildings, such as Ali Qapu Palace, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Qeysarieh Portal and the majestic Imam Mosque. Located in the west of Imam Square, Ali Qapu Palace covers six-floors and was originally built as the main palace of Shah Abbas, who used it to receive guests and foreign ambassadors.
Then you have free time to stroll in Qeysarieh bazaar. After lunch, it is time to visit Jame Mosque (Friday Mosque), the biggest in Iran and full of lovely designed stuccos and experience traditional Iranian sport at Zoorkhaneh.

Day 11 : Kashan - Tehran
Distance from Isfahan to Tehran: 431 Km (approx. 5 hours)

Today we will head for Tehran while en route we will stop for visiting the delightful Kashan. Kashan is a beautiful oasis city with a very long history 鈥 human settlement in the area dates back to the 4th millennium BC. It is also a merchant town known for its high-quality ceramics, silks, carpets, and some of the finest traditional houses in Iran. We will visit the awe-inspiring Tabatabae Historical House, the rich archaeological site of Sialk Tepe and Fin Garden which is one of the most prominent Persian gardens.
The 19th-century Tabatabae Historical House was established by wealthy merchants and feature lovely courtyards, lush gardens and fine intricate relief designs carved into stone.
Sialk Tepe is in the southwest of Kashan. It consists of two hills and two cemeteries. The oldest settlement of this hill belongs to the first half of the fifth millennium BCE. The inhabitants lived in simple huts which were covered with mud. There have been stone axes and objects made of bone among the finds in Sialk Tepe.
Fin Garden which is known as 鈥淏aghe Fin鈥 also contains Fin Bath. Amir Kabir, the Qajarid chancellor, was murdered in Fin Bath by an assassin sent by King Nasereddin Shah in 1852. The origin of the garden belongs to Safavid period. In 2007, Baghe Fin has been submitted to the UNESCO鈥檚 World Heritage list.

Day 12 : Depart from Tehran
After breakfast, we will check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport. The transfer to the airport will be scheduled based on your flight. Then you depart from your home country.
