Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati

  Arrive Guwahati and transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit Shankardev Kalakhetra, Assam State Museum. Evening river cruise in the mighty river Brahmaputra. Overnight stay.
• Day 2 : Guwahati/Jorhat

  Morning after breakfast check out and proceed to Jorhat. Check in at Kaziranag Golf Resort, a heritage tea Bungalow set in Colonial style amidst tea gardens. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay.
• Day 3 : Jorhat/Mon

  Morning drive to Mon, one of the towns in Nagaland, known for 'those violent headhunters with tattooed faces' of the Konyak tribes. During the month of April the harvest festival of Aoling is celebrated. On arrival check in at Teihpha Cottage. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay.
• Day 4 : Mon

  Aoling is a festival when the whole village busts out its finest, with elaborate headgear and heavy jewelry.There is dancing, singing and a mega feast. Villagers shoot guns to express their joy for the harvest. Day long at the festival ground. Overnight stay.
• Day 5 : Mon/Kohima

  Morning after breakfast drive to Kohima, one of the districts of Nagaland, home to the Angami and the Rengma Tribes. On arrival check in at Visa ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥stay. Visit War Memorial and the bustling town in the evening. Overnight stay.
• Day 6 : Kohima

  Morning visit the Khonama Village 20 kms from Kohima, also known as the first green village in India. Khonoma is famous for its forests and a unique form of agriculture, including some of the oldest terraced cultivation in the region. Conservation is only one of the elements of social empowerment at Khonoma. Visitors to the village are confronted with a bewildering number of activities and processes that its residents seem to be engaged in. Some of these are new, some age-old. Khonoma may well be the only village in India that has a global citizenry with an active self-identity; every year, 1 September is celebrated as the village’s ‘birthday’, with Khonomaians from far and wide coming to the village to celebrate, or carrying out celebrations wherever they may be. In the evening return to Kohima. Overnight stay.
• Day 7 : Kohima/Imphal

  Morning after breakfast check out and drive to Imphal, the capital city of the state of Manipur. On arrival check in at The Classic Hotel. Overnight stay.
• Day 8 : Imphal/Shillong

  Morning after breakfast check out and drive to Shillong in the state of Meghalaya. Check in at Hotel Polo Towers. Evening visit the local market. Overnight stay.
• Day 9 : Departure

  Morning visit Wards lake, Church and some possible sights. Check out from hotel and drive to Guwahati airport. Tour Ends
