Package Overview

Chander Tal is a lake in between two remote valleys of Spiti and Lahaul, behind the high pass over 4000m high and surrounded by glaciers, pinnacle of mountains and the C.B range. At night the reflection of C.B range on the lake鈥檚 surface cast a hauntingly beautiful landscape.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Delhi

  Arrival in Delhi, pick up from airport/rly/bus station and transfer to hotel. Delhi, the capital city of India, is a historic and an important political place. A day sightseeing could take you to old palaces, many famous temples, old city and a glimpse of the vibrant lifestyle that speaks of a dynamic society.
• Day 2 : Delhi to Manali

  Drive from Delhi to Manali, distance 600 kms, travel time 12 hours.
• Day 3 : Manali(2000m) - Batal

  The trek starts with a 5-hour drive from Manali(2000m) to Batal (3500m) via Rohtang Pass (3978m). Overnight at the camp area in Batal.

  • Hotspots Rohtang Pass
• Day 4 : Batal - Chandertal Lake (4200m)

  Walk about 5 hours, soaking in the spectacular view of the CB range and peak nos. 13, 14, 69 and a fresh blue water lake. Camp on the bank of the lake & watch the reflection of the mountain and the stars at night is the highlight of this trek.
• Day 5 : Chander Tal Lake - Tokpo Gongma (4320m)

  Walk about 8 hours starting at a narrow valley and leading towards wider & higher valley, getting closer to some the famous peak in the CB range. In this area the carpet of flowering plants including yellow & blue poppies are the main attraction .One will love the view of grazing sheep.

  • Themes Hill Stations & Valleys
• Day 6 : Topko Gongma - Topko Yongma (4700m)

  Walk is about 6 hours. This area is full of streams that have to be crossed. The view of the Multila Peak is artistic.
• Day 7 : Tokpo Yongma - Baralachala Pass (4800m)

  Today the walk is about 4 hours in an area where you will feel like you are in the clouds.
• Day 8 : Manali

  Drive back to Manali.
• Day 9 : Return to Delhi by car
