Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Yangon arrival (D)

  Upon arrival at Yangon airport, our Myanmar adventure guide will greet you at the airport then take the hotel transfer for about 01 hour. Enjoy your first visit Yangon with a leisurely walk in Shwedagon, Chaukhtatgyi, Ngatatgyi pagoda which features the holy pilgrimage sites with golden stupas, diamondized spires. Join us for the welcome dinner with exceptional cultural show.

• Day 2 : Yangon – Kyaiktiyo (Golden Rock) (B)

  After breakfast, overland drive to Kyaingtiyo to go to the Golden Rock (driving hour about 4 hours). One the way, we visit to Htaukkyant War Cemetery. Then proceed to overland driving to Golden Rock. Arrive at pilgrim-village is a starting point to the famous Golden Rock. From our hotel in Kyaikhtiyo we first take a truck and then enjoy the trekking to Golden Rock, it will take about 1 hour up the hill to enjoy the sunset at the Golden Rock. The famous 'Golden Rock' is a sacred, massive gold-leafed boulder delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff near the top of Mt. Kyaingtiyo and it is one of the most revered Buddhist shrines.

• Day 3 : Golden Rock – Bago – Taungoo (B)

  Early sunrise time, strolling around the hill sites for an unforgettable experience of Golden Rock then return to hotel for breakfast there. Continue your drive back to Yangon by coach. On the way, visit to Bago, located only 80 km, was an ancient capital of Mon Kingdom in 15th century and enjoy the Bago sightseeing including Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha (55 metres long), Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Myo Ma Local Market, 28 meter high huge Buddha Image of Kyaikpun Pagoda, Chinese Kwanyin Temple and upon your interest, you can visit the Kanbawzathardi Palace of King Bayinnaung. An optional visit is included on the way continue to Taungoo (approx 5 hours) through main land in Myanmar.

• Day 4 : Taungoo – Inle Lake (B)

  Start your trip drive through main land in Myanmar to Inle Lake (approx 10 hours). The drive will offer you a top at the top of the hills for views over the city and surrounding countryside. Late afternoon, drive to Nyaungshwe on the edge of Inle Lake. If time permits you may visit Joss house of ruling Shan Sawbwa who was the first president at Myanmar independent.

• Day 5 : Inle Lake – Pindaya – Nyaungshwe (B)

  Drive to Pindaya in the morning. This mountainous area is famous for its cave which is full of Buddha statues. As you travel further into Shan state, you will encounter different ethnic minorities. Take a breathtaking walk to visit local villages, experience the way local people plan tea, rice, flowers. We then continue the trip with 2 hour drive to Nyang Shwe town. Start boarding the boat to do sightseeing in Inle Lake from stilt villages of silk weaving, black smith and boat making. The sightseeing covers the cultural interaction with local people and the unique Jumping Cat pagoda. Relax by the lake when the sunset comes.

• Day 6 : Inle Lake – Indein – Pa O village (B)

  Visit one of the most unique market on Inle lake which happens 5 days in different villages in Inlay area: the Indein market. There is no better chance to behold the scene of Pa-O, Padang tribes in their traditional dresses.
  
  Our guide will offer you some visit to local habitat of Pa-O people in Indein.

• Day 7 : Inle Lake – Taunggyi – Kakku (B)

  Leave your hotel by boat and drive up through pine-clad hills to Taunggyi, capital of Southern Shan State and a former British hill station. Visit the local market where minority people sell their produce and a cheroot factory. Just a couple of hours from Taunggyi, discover the "long lost" ruins of Kak Ku in countryside inhabited by the Pa O people. Kakku pagoda is very unusual and little is known about its origins. The Pa O people believe that the original pagoda was built on the site some 2,000 years ago. Dozens of small stupas surround the main pagoda in a huge circle. You can wander through the stupas which are decorated with fine stucco work and Buddha images. Visit one of the many Pa O villages near Kakku and see a huge monastery on the way back to Taunggyi. Transfer back to Nyaungshwe where you will board your boat return to your hotel.

• Day 8 : Inle Lake – Yangon City Tour (B) (Flight)

  Taking afternoon flight back to Yangon. We then continue to explore the charm of Yangon city with visits to Colonial buildings including City Hall, Emmanuel church and Chinese temple. In the afternoon, we will discover outskirt of Yangon as the trip brings us a short visit to Thanlyin, formerly known as Syriam. Return to Yangon then free at leisure.

• Day 9 : Yangon departure (B)

  A guided tour this day will take you to Sule pagoda and the downtown of Yangon. Take your time for some souvenir at Scott market, the biggest market in Yangon famed for gems, jewelry, wood products and handicrafts. Leaving Yangon for the next adventures in Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand or Laos to combine with your beautiful memory of Myanmar or fly back to your home country.
