Package Overview

During this tour you will drive by the scenic Great Baikal Road, visit view point at the mountain, Baikal Sanctuary, located in Tankhoy, where you will see museum of Baikal fauna, walk 4 km by the beautiful nature trail in the forest of Baikal taiga, most of the year surrounded by picturesque snow peaks. You will see some part of Siberian wildlife here. About 30 km away there is a bird ringing station, which will give you an understanding of the research of bird migration and population changes. At the end we will visit the sable enclosure, where you will see one of symbols of this region, Barguzin sable, very cute and smart animal.

• Price includes all transfers and guide service as per itinerary, entrance to the national park and museum. Lunch on the way is at the road cafe and paid extra (usually around 200-300 rub). Bird ringing station is opened from late April till end of October). Please take on long-sleeve pants against ticks, you will have a tick repellent also.On the way back in summer we can make an optional stop at Warm Lakes for swimming.
