About the Tosh Valley Trek:
This Tosh Valley trek takes you to a beautiful side valley to the primary Parvati Valley. Leading you to the small yet utterly scenic village of Tosh, this trek starts from the beautiful city of Kasol, gets you a stay amidst the beauty of Tosh, and then ends in Kasol. You start trekking from Kasol by the side of the river Parvati and it will take you about trekking for almost 9 km to reach Tosh. An amazing point to note here is that the valley of Tosh is actually home to a tributary of the river Parvati, which also goes by the name River Tosh. This means that as soon as you arrive at a point where a smaller river stream is feeding its waters into the grand Parvati Valley, you have arrived at the beginning point of Tosh Valley.

In all manners, this where the real Tosh Valley Trek starts. Walking by the rivulet, you arrive in the quaint village, famous for being untouched and pristine, with so many wild views of the Himalayan peaks covered in snow. After spending some time in admiring the beauty surrounding this place and clicking memorable pictures, the stay here steals the show as you spend an amazing night under the starry sky.

About the Destination
Indulge your visual senses as you take on the Tosh valley trek, a trail that will take you across the periphery of the mighty Himalayas. A village at the end of the Parvati Valley in Himachal Pradesh, Tosh is situated at a height of 7,874ft and leads to the beautiful Pin Parvati Pass. The Tosh River here is an offshoot of the Parvati River, which suckles into the main river at Pulga.

With this activity, get to experience the valley which is constricted at the beginning but unwraps later into attractive pastures as it ascends. Lap up the striking spectacle at the pass with the Tosh Glacier on one side and several well-known peaks like Papasura (6,451m) and White Sail (6,466m) on the other side; the stunning Malana Glacier can also be viewed from the top of the pass.

Himalayan trekking in Tosh Valley will take you through gorgeous meadows and streams leaving you breathless. Begin from Barsheni and hike up to make pit stops at Buddhaban and the Tosh Village.

• Day 1 : Arrival in Kasol: 4 Hours Trek, Pine Forests, Parvati Valley Dam, Village

  Kasol is situated in the Parvati Valley and offers a splendid view of the scenic valleys and untouched hills. After your arrival, Transfer to the Trekking Point and Follow the furious Tosh River as it flows deep into the pine forests, till you reach beautiful springs and colossal rocks

  Early in the morning drive to Almora via Kathgodam. Arrival at Almora by evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel..

  Wake up in the morning, get freshened and energized with a breakfast in the camp.Today, you will be trekking back to Kasol.
