Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : BANGALORE - COORG (6.5HRS)

  On Arrival at Bangalore airport, meet assistance by our executive and onward you will drive to Coorg 鈥� so called the Scotland of South India. Enroute visit the 鈥淣amdroling Monastry Bylakuppe鈥� 鈥� one of the largest teaching center of the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism in the world. [Visit at monastery subject to permission]. Post visit proceed to Coorg and check in to hotel of stay. (Overnight at hotel in Coorg)
• Day 2 : IN COORG / SIGHTSEEING

  After breakfast proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Coorg visiting places of interest such 鈥淒ubbare Elephant Camp鈥� - This camp has plenty of elephants which are trained under naturalist. A trained Naturalist is at hand to explain the various aspects of Elephant history, ecology and biology. The visitor can not only observe and learn but also participate in various activities involving Elephants. 鈥淎bbey Falls鈥� - one of the most amazing attractions in the Coorg. The picturesque view of the falls is breathtaking. 鈥淩aja鈥檚 seat鈥� - is a seasonal garden of flowers and fountains. 鈥淥mkareshwara temple鈥� - dedicated to God Shiva. It is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. 鈥淢adikkeri fort & museum鈥� - a historical landmark of Coorg. The fort was constructed in the later part of the 17th century by Muddu Raja, the then king of Coorg. It is a unique fort that houses among other structures a temple, an Anglican Church, a prison and a museum. Later in the evening return to hotel of stay. (Overnight at hotel in Coorg).
• Day 3 : COORG - OOTY (6.5 HRS)

  Check out from hotel after breakfast and drive to Ooty 鈥� also known as Nigiris. The drive through the winding roads uphill is filled with scenic natural beauty. On arrival at Ooty check in to hotel and relaxed evening.

• Day 4 : IN OOTY / SIGHTSEEING including Coonoor

  After breakfast, we proceed to Coonoor by the famous TOY TRAIN for a beautiful ride from ooty 鈥� Coonoor. Upon reaching Coonoor the driver will pick you from station and proceed for sightseeing visiting - Sim鈥檚 park - a beautiful botanical garden developed in 1874 is home to a variety of unusual species of plants, which have been brought from different parts of the world. The Lamb鈥檚 rock - offers spectacular views. The Dolphin nose - a viewpoint situated more than 1,000 feet above sea level. After sightseeing of Coonoor drive back to Ooty and proceed visiting the famous Botanical garden of Ooty - spread over a huge area of 22 hectares and with more than 650 species of flowers and trees, is a horticulturist鈥檚 delight. The Doddabetta peak - at an altitude of 8,606 feet is the highest point of South India. The Rose Garden - one of the largest rose gardens in India. The Wax museum here in is also interesting to visits. End your day at the Ooty lake - a 2.5-kilometre long lake meandering through the scenic beauty of the Nilgiris. You could indulge in many activities here like boating, cycling around the lake, horse riding etc. (Overnight stay at hotel in Ooty)

• Day 5 : OOTY TO MYSORE (4.0HRS)

  After breakfast check out and drive to the palace city of South India 鈥� Mysore. On reaching mysore, proceed for sightseeing visiting 鈥� Famous 鈥淧alace of Mysore鈥� - Built in 1912 in the Indo Saracenic style. The 鈥淛ayachanarajendra Art Gallery鈥� housed in the Jaganmohan palace - that has a collection of Exquisite paintings dating back to 1875. Viisit to the famous 鈥淢ysore Zoo鈥�. In the evening visit the bull temple (a 4.8mts monolith) on the middle of hill on the way to Chamundi temple and then on to visit the 鈥淐hamumdi Hill Temple鈥� at a height of 1062mts. You will end the day with a visit to the beautiful Brindavan Gardens. (Overnight stay at hotel in Mysore)

• Day 6 : DEPARTURE TO BANGALORE

  After breakfast, checkout from the hotel & the tour ends today with a departure transfer to Bangalore airport or railway station for your return journey with beautiful memories of the tour.
